Graduate school for comp sci

There is a big difference working on commercial software or anything else that’s not game related.

I can complete a level and hit every single requirement that’s required in the design doc in maybe a few weeks, but is it a fun level just because I fulfilled the requirements? Can I make it better? It really comes down to polishing and tweaking something you made.

Last few months of the project, we just did endless iteration of a level by having focus test twice a week and making changes. I don’t complain not because I’m a lemming but I want to make a good game, I want to make my level fun.
