So what’s the etiquette on college graduation announcements? Can I send them to friends without making them feel obliged to send gifts? I just want to let them know I finally wrapped up my under-gradual degree here in as casual a way as possible, but I think these announcements are pretty spiffy and I want to use them. Advice?
Yeah, just send them out. They’ll be happy to know what’s going on with you. It won’t even cross their minds to send you a present. A phone call, maybe.
Family, friends, acquaintences.
Mail them to everyone you know and tell them that if they don’t copy and forward it to five people, something terrible will happen to them.
Be sure to include an example of this happening.
