I didn’t see much about PvP in the video besides deathmatch. I hope there is still Cops vs Robbers. Chasing the mob boss thru the streets of Liberty City was my favorite part of GTA IV. Ideally there will be a way to play as the police in GTAV. Riding around in a patrol car and getting a call about another player’s heist to respond to would be kind of cool.
Ok, just read that other players can take your money after killing you. If there isn’t a flag for that my fear is it will end up like DayZ, where it’s usually kill on sight when two players meet.
I wonder what the thinking behind these advertisements is? They all remind me of Sci-fi films that do exposition through adverts (Robocop or Starship Troopers are the only one that come to mind but aren’t quite what I mean…they just have that sort of “Here at Rockstar Industries we believe the future of laser-cars…is you” vibe). There’s no dubstep even!
Wouldn’t they have announced it by now if they were planning to port GTA5 to the new consoles anytime soon?
The same way they don’t announce a PC port despite that one most certainly being in the pipeline.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they announce a PS4/One version six months or so after the PS3/360 release. Upgraded visuals, a bit of bonus content, 32 or 64 players in GTA Online… it’s not like it would be difficult to do this since there’s already a PC version anyway.
I kinda hope that they release the PS4/PRISM version before the pc version, on the off chance we get a 64-bit port instead of a port of the XBOX/PS3 versions to the pc.
