"Grandpa" Al Lewis dies

So long, Grandpa Al.

The Munsters holds a dear place in my heart because it was one of the shows that signaled the end of the soap opera desert, which made up the mid-day TV schedule when I was home sick from school.

He was all over the NYC club scene in the 80s. He used to show up on Howard Stern and talk about it all the time.

It was creepy and yet fascinating.

All my favorite 60’s stars that I enjoyed in re-runs are gone. DeForest Kelley. Don Adams. Bob Denver. So sad.

Let’s take a moment to remember Grandpa’s video game connection, namely Midnight Mutants for the Atari 7800.
