To End All Wars doesn’t look all that much more complicated to me than Civil War 2 does.
Speaking of, I’m already entranced by Civil War 2, and it’s only July 1861. Union troops have marched on Harper’s Ferry, and there hasn’t yet been a Bull Run moment: the Union forces in Alexandria aren’t quite big enough to take on the Confederate army sitting in Manassas, both of which are vastly larger than the forces historically at Manassas in July 1861. The Union Army grows by the day as Ohio and Pennsylvania volunteers stream toward the front, and in a month or so, attacks should land in West Virginia and Missouri, with Arizona coming after. On my longer-term to-do list is a Peninsular Campaign, since, so far, I’ve held onto Fort Monroe at the tip of the Virginia Peninsula. I’ll probably skip McClellan this time. <.<

Ok, you guys convinced me to go for everything. I already own Wars in America so I wonder if that means I’ve got the entire AGEOD series? :) I absolutely refuse to play Pride of Nations so if anyone else would like to give it a try (I think this is my second time to give it away) please send me a PM and I’ll hook you up.
If I may ask, why is that? I’ve been curious about the game for a long time.
I also still have keys for Pride of Nations and Rise of Prussia Gold, if anyone is interested.

Pride of Nations gets a bad rap simply because the Grand Campaign turn processing time takes at least 90 seconds in early years and ramps up to a few minutes in later years. But there is still a lot to appreciate in the game. The individual scenarios like the Boer War, the Spanish American War or the Indian Mutiny have no economic systems and the turn processing time is very quick. They are also completely unique in the historical strategy gaming sphere in that I cannot think of another operational level game that lets you play in these periods.
Even the Grand Campaign is worth playing if you are prepared to give it some time - there is an interesting AAR on the PON ageod forum where a player actually plays the entire 70 years as Sardinia - Italy. It is a very interesting read.
@amandachen Hi, I would be interested in to end all wars and the DLC
Not to be greedy but civil war 2 and alea jacta est and dlc’s would be nice too but only if you don’t get any other offers
Thank you for your consideration and generous offers

Is there anything in this list that is a must by? Haven’t done a deep grognard game in a while. See http://www.matrixgames.com/products/330/details/Gary.Grigsby’s.World.at.War:.A.World.Divided and was most curious about it.
There I go down that rabbit hole again.
Hannibal: Rome and Cathage in the Second Punic War got its fans. It is a very punishing game though. It’s got a lighter little brother in the Victory and Glory game, set in the Napoleonic campaigns, although it is really on the easy side. But both of those games are still much more boardgamey than wargamey, and probably not ‘grognard’ oriented.
Hannibal also got better discounts during the past couple of Winter sales, if that is a big factor for you.
I would be able to only provide hearsay on some of the other titles, which are intriguing me as well (the Conflict of Heroes games, mainly, in my own case).

I keep eyeing that Ageod bundle, but I think I’m going to let it go. I’m grog-curious at best, and even if the games are good, I don’t see my self actually getting around to them any time soon given that I still haven’t gotten very far in UoC, UGG, or Graviteam Tactics.

Wait, V&G is a little brother to Rome and Carthage? After six years? I was kind of hoping for something a bit more detailed, not something even lighter. $21 seems like a reasonable price, but given that I hate all of Glenn Drover’s other games, maybe I’ll pass after all.

I wouldn’t call Victory and Glory “lighter” than Hannibal at all. More event cards, deeper combat choices, and the fact that the player, as France, can be fighting on 2 or 3 fronts simultaneously proves just the opposite.
If you don’t care for Glenn’s other games, pass on this, but otherwise it’s well worth the $21, imo.

But it’s such a good deal! The full price for all of those titles is $300 and you can get it for $7!

But I loved Rome vs Carthage! I’m in a dilemma!

I don’t know what to tell you. I think it’s the best war game I’ve played this year, but I have a soft spot for digital board games. Watch some videos. If you really loved Hannibal, you should like this.

WaW is a very good game from 2006. I think you can even play it with high resolutions with the latest patch. But I’m not interested in paying $40 for an 11 year old game, even at 30% off.

I just finished the first tutorial with 30 Years War and I’m really impressed. AGEOD has really improved their UI with their latest game. I wish they could go back and implement it in all of their older games.
Ohh nice, I’ll need to give it a whirl.
