Great game, so many memories.
I remember playing SFB with miniatures across a large room, maybe it was a gym or something, in college. So many boxes.
I friggin loved SFB when I was in high school, even though almost every playing with my friends resulted in a huge argument over the rules.

I played SFB. When it came in a 5x7 ziploc bag. We mostly just designed ships, though, we didn’t actually play very much. Come to think of it, we did the same with Car Wars.

Happy Birthday to Me! Opened up my new birthday present last night. The two maps (one winter and one summer) are big enough that they have to overlap on my 7 foot pool table. You never play with both at the same time, but it gives you some idea how big they are. Everything is top shelf including the maps, units, rules, cards, and charts. Looking forward to digging into it in the coming days!
