It’s eight if you count The Dragon’s Reach as one episode, and nine if you count part 1 and 2 separately.
So wait, there are separate episodes one has to pay for?
No, they’re free content. The just-announced expansion will be the first paid content added. There’s some in-game purchase stuff that’s incredibly easy to ignore otherwise.

They’re free if you logged into the game in the “2 week” (really 2-12 week) period each one was current. If not, you need to pay 200 “gems” per episode.
Right. Listen to stusser. I didn’t know you could go back and do them after the fact. Nice little revenue stream for them.
See, my problem is that I never finished the initial story quests. I got to 80 in my initial character (& about 30 in my first alt], but didn’t finish the story and it sounds like they may have nuked it as part of the living story.

You can still go back and do the release personal story, then follow up with season 2.
There’s no way to do any of season 1, sadly.
Commander shields can be several colours now. Each server will probably use a different colour for different types of commanders: commander leading the map zerg, commander leading small havoc group for example. But yeah look for a shield it will be a commander, main commander will probably be blue.
Dudes, it’s not a shield, it’s a Dorito. Duh.

Hey, speaking of nice little revenue streams, they should totally do that. I’d follow my Dorito Lord into the pit of hell and back!

Now I want a club that looks like a Cheeto.

Would it be purely cosmetic or would it have a cheesy residue debuff as well?
Electronic Arts has a Cheetos-themed character skin in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. TRUE STORY!

Don’t worry about saving anything for alts (for the most part - sometimes expensive L80 will drop, which you probably do want to keep).
Just salvage if you’re not going to use it immediately, or sell on the trading post. You’ll note that the prices for crafting materials are in lockstep with the prices for the blues and greens, so you lose nothing from salvaging, and actually get some magic find that way.
Upgrade gear that’s 10 levels or so out of date from the trading post - they’re really cheap. Filter by level/gear type/etc.

This club would give a -4 attack penalty on the victim due to distraction because they would be trying to lick the cheesiness off of themselves. There is no saving throw because it’s freakin’ cheese powder.
With getting ready for #SnowCountryForOldMen, I only got a few levels on my Ranger. Up to 19.
Did enjoy my time though.
Didn’t they nuke Lion’s Gate as part of the story? I seem to recall a lot of important parts of the personal story took place in and around Lion’s Gate…
They did, but the personal story is all instanced anyway.
Great advice, thanks! So generally I’m assume that the really good L80 items will be yellow and above, right? I’ll just plan on salvaging everything below 80, or green and blue 80s.
One more question: Is there any downside to just eating all the Luck as I find it? I figure I want my Magic Find to be as high as possible, but I don’t want to destroy any Luck that’s necessary for crafting and hard to come by otherwise.
Luck’s good for a little extra artificer levelling, but if you’re salvaging most everything that drops you’ll get plenty of it anyway.
