I never understood the mentality of disliking something then going ahead and repeating it many times even if it is in ridicule.

I’m not sure what I did except for put together a little movie post every week. That’s why Woolen Horde is upset with me? Go figure.
I think my comics thread was what pushed him over the edge. Just as well, I’m told people confuse our user names at a glance.
For the record, I loathe them too, although I hate these sorts of “jokes” more. Humor’s about the unexpected, people - not the most obvious thing that comes to mind.
That said, I sympathize with Woolen… “here’s a list you could get anywhere else if you cared to: discuss!” Let me know when you guys have actual thoughts to share. This is the return of the McTopics.

I disagree unless you’re referring explicity to Woolen’s posts. Talking about upcoming movies is hardly a “McTopic” … or is it?!
Apparently DrCrypt has been curing cancer and solving Fermat’s last theorem in other threads while we weren’t looking.
I mean, really. Movies (and I assume comics, although I don’t know) change every week. It seems pretty sensible to say “Here’s what out, what do people hear, what should I spend my money on, what looks good?” The whole board is like a virtual watercooler.
