The PSP FF IV is different. I haven’t played it, so I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing, but the artwork is classic sprite stuff. Extra story included too. The other systems are 3D with voiced cutscenes.
The PSP remake of Final Fantasy IV is definitely the way to go. Along with just being a great version of Final Fantasy IV, it also includes Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, the weird sequel originally released for Japanese mobile phones and later ported to WiiWare, and a new exclusive interlude game that connects the other two games.

Recommend not bothering, it’s basically unplayable with the single analog stick. Delta is better, but only OK.
Thanks!
Only Final Fantasy IV then perhaps.
PS3 and Vita stores no longer closing.

yay i can put off cleaning up my old consoles for longer now
It was a ploy to get me to buy more stuff!
J/K. Great news!
You did the right thing (if it’s buying a Vita - if it’s playing Starflight, no idea).
Vita was a great console. It was no 3DS in the quantity department, but it had a good sized library including the PSP backward compatibility (digital) which included a lot of PSONE classics. I still have a huge backlog of unopened/unplayed games I’ve picked up in the last 3 years since I’ve owned it.
Yeah it’s a great piece of kit that sadly didn’t get the library it deserved. Nothing really comes close to the DS/3DS and PS2 in terms of their libraries, sadly.
The Vita store has entered maintenance mode.
I’ve been playing mine a ton since I put all the emulators on it. IT’s such a great piece of kit that deserved better, but it’s an emulation powerhouse when set up properly.
