I’m happy about the Jennifer Ehle casting for sure. Have to say she was a large part of the reason I suck around to watch the BBC Pride and Prejudice.
Jennifer Ehle was tres chaud in Pride and Prejudice. Though that was about 10 years ago…

Though she was born in North Carolina to an acting family that includes her mother, Rosemarry Harris (Aunt May from the Spider-Man films), Jennifer Ehle is more associated with British television and movies, but she’s great. I’ve been a fan for a long time. She won a BAFTA for her role in Colin Firth’s version of Pride & Prejudice (the version that all the English lit fans all love, though part of that is because Firth falls into a lake while wearing a poofy white shirt, and then climbs out. I swear, it’s like porn to English lit girls), and she has two Tony awards for her work on stage. So she’s got plenty of talent, which is key since Catelyn is a difficult role; she’s emotionally torn and notice how all her decisions result in disaster. She’s the walking example of how the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
