Yep, it’s available for me today.
Works on my note 10.1 2014 edition. California here.
PSA: If you haven’t logged in since Goblins vs Gnomes came out, do it quick! The three free packs they’re giving away ends on Dec 19.
I don’t know if it’s a happy coincidence of the meta, or if GvG introduced a bunch of new players to the game, but I have a relatively naive Naxx death rattle warlock that’s been doing surprisingly well recently.

Could be new people coming in from Android, too. Which sadly I haven’t been able to try yet since Hearthstone throws a fit when I put it on my Touchpad.
Also a little disappointed at the impact GvG had. For the most part one or two new cards just got incorporated into existing decks, haven’t seen much in the way of new decks. Admittedly haven’t been playing a ton, but the only newish deck I’ve seen is mech-rogue which is kinda sorta tempo rogue but since tempo rogue’s been MIA for so long I’ll call it a new thing anyway. I guess control/thief priest is on the too. Deathrattle priest largely fell off the face of the Earth. Also (Generally) seems like control and midrange are back in vogue, seen fewer aggro decks on the whole.

I agree with this, so just to be contrary I put together a Druid murloc deck. Mostly for laughs, but you know what? It’s not terrible! And no one expects it, so you have that advantage during the mulligan. Big plus: games sure are fast. Either you are winning by turn five or you concede and fire up a new one.

Oh, and yes, the KT and Ysera? Thoughtsteal. The KT started off as his as well. And the Rag hit his big minions every turn.
…
Anyway, yea, having fun with Hearthstone still.

The absolute best murloc deck I’ve made (Before GvG, haven’t messed with it since) was paladin. You naturally go really heavy on murlocs, but unlike something like warlock murloc which most people play, you’re able to protect your murlocs better. Both by having a sweeper or two in consecrate, truesilvers, sometimes blessing of kings, almost always argent protector, sometimes git down, etc. Card draw isn’t too much of an issue since I ran double oracles and double divine favor. And like you said, people generally don’t expect it. There was a time when aggro paladin was all the rage and people would mulligan for aggressive paladin, but nowadays people usually assume you’re playing control.
Had a game like that yesterday. Was playing my control paladin deck which normally mops the floor with priests, but the combination of never drawing my second equality, shrinkmeister being ridiculous, and the single thoughtsteal the priest cast naturally grabbing the Tirion that was in the bottom 5 cards of my deck wore me down. Even then I would’ve stabilized if he hadn’t had a holy fire in hand on that final turn.
Ithink this guy’s reactions to opening his new ‘Goblins and Gnomes’ packs are hilarious :
Gilblin Stalkers FTW!

He seems to get pretty upset about getting dupes of commons. But in a set 1/3 the size of the original, all your commons will be dupes really fast. Just how it works.
Blizzard Insider reveals what everyone knew regarding Hearthstone. It’s a huge hit.
The insider says Hearthstone numbers “are off the charts.” The next expansion is due to come out soon and will be more PvE focused. The team is also experimenting with a 2 vs. 2 version. Stunningly Hearthstone has more than tripled the last publicly released players number of more than 20 million.

I mentioned this in the HotS thread as well, but that article has my bullshit alarm ringing. 2v2 in Hearthstone seems highly implausible.

Most of the time when I play Magic I prefer to do two headed Giant or other formats. Why does it seem improbable? They said ‘experimenting’ – that seems about right.
I don’t see anything in the HS design that would make 2v2 impossible. Might have to special-rule some abusive edge cases, but yeah – experimenting sounds about right.

UI is the main thing. Especially on phones.
It also seems like a much more niche thing than I’d expect from them – Hearthstone is not Magic. It increases user downtime significantly, and/or would add interactivity during other folks turns… neither of which are things I’d expect from Blizzard. And while there’s demand for other features, I’ve never heard community demand for 2v2.
Not impossible, of course. But it still strikes me as highly implausible.
It says they’re experimenting. I’m sure they’re experimenting with all sorts of possibilities when it comes to a money machine like Hearthstone.

I agree it’s tricky to create and might not work, but not niche. I think a lot of people would love team play. 1v1 games are mostly the exception when it comes to popular competitive games. If you search for Hearthstone 2v2 there are quite a few gigantic threads of people wishing for it.
Blackrock Mountain adventure pack coming next month.
New Cards: Blackrock Mountain contains 5 wings populated by a slew of fiendishly clever bosses, each with their own hero power and unique new cards. When you defeat a boss for the first time, you will earn two copies of a brand-new card for your collection!
Legendary: When you clear a wing for the first time, you will be rewarded with that wing’s legendary card – for example, the cruel leader of the mountain’s orcish inhabitants: Rend Blackhand!
Class Challenges: On top of the regular bosses, Blackrock Mountain also includes nine all-new class challenges. Class challenges pit you against a specific boss using a custom, pre-set deck designed to test your skill with the class in question. Succeed, and two copies of a new class card are yours.
New Game Board: SO SHINY!
Dragons: As one would expect, Blackrock Mountain is home to a variety of dragons. Prepare to see a lot more of these scaly, fire-breathing, adventurer-crunching creatures as you brave the mountain!
Orcs, Dwarves, and Elementals, Oh My: Aside from dragons, there are plenty of other minions fighting on either side of the conflict: Dark Iron dwarves, fiery elementals, and the Blackrock orcs (who already had that name before it was cool).
Heroic Mode: If you like a challenge, you can try taking on the Heroic Mode version of any mission that you’ve cleared. This extra-difficult game mode is designed for players who don’t mind taking on ridiculously unfair and overpowered opponents. Bring your best deck and plenty of patience. You’ll need it!

$25 for the bundle, or 700g/$6.99 for each wing.
Interesting - four months between major expansions, I was expecting six, as in the Naxx to GvG pacing.
(Still, it’s a set-cards one, rather than collectable, so it’s not too harsh :) )

“Holding a dragon” as a mechanic. Rather…specific, but hey.
They really do need to Nerf Dr. Boom a bit though - he’s rapidly become rather Universal. Maybe 7/6 and bombs do 1-3?
