Popped open 50 pre-order packs. I won’t give an exhaustive list of cards received, but here are some of the highlights:

3 Legendaries:
The Skeleton Knight (General): Deathrattle Joust on death to put card back in your hand.
Wilfred Fizzlebang (Warlock): Cards drawn from your Hero Power while Wilfred is active cost zero mana to play.
Rhonin (Mage): Deathrattle, put 3 Arcane Missles in your hand.

The following duplicates will be dusted for a total of 850 dust, this ignores golden cards that might give me more than 2 of a card:
2 epic
12 rare
82 common

My next step is to sort through everything and see how close I am to getting all the TGT dragon themed cards. I know I got several, but I’d like to at least get Chillmaw, which I have the dust for, but I’m pretty sure there are a couple others I don’t have yet either. I’ve been running some dragon decks lately, and have been pretty eager to bolster them.

Rhonin is kind of interesting, based on seeing him in the Tavern Brawl. In an empty field, he’s basically: Deathrattle: draw 3-mana Pyroblast.

Was able to log in and play a couple of matches to clear out my win-2-as-paladin quest, so I must be on the lucky side of the Internet with no connectivity issues. Bought 12 packs with some of the quest gold I’ve been hoarding. Not a lot of variety - I had 9 (!) Ice Ragers and 4 of the same Warlock rare out of those 12 packs, and three different packs had three of the same common. Guess their RNG is really random, no tweaking to ensure variety here!

I went a little overboard, 82 packs, 50 preorder and saved up a bunch of gold

Rare - 93
Epic - 14
Legendary - 7 (one double, one golden)

Had 4 legendary in the 1st 25 packs including 2 in one pack. I also got 2500ish worth of dust which brings the total to 5500 so I can fill in the cards I need. I like to make decks and do what I can, the only net-deck I have made was a oil rogue.

This should be fun :)

I’m actually having more fun with the new 2-drop shredder drops so far than I am with any of the small changes I’ve made to my decks up to this point (to be fair, I’ve only made a couple small changes… I fear change).

Also of note, the new Wyrmrest Agent is a wonderful card for an existing dragon priest deck I’ve been tinkering with for the last two weeks. I’ve been fortunate that people are doing a really bad job playing around it and my Dark Cultists this morning, giving me some great protection early on. Ahh, but it won’t last, I’m sure.

Got savaged by my packs, sadly. 30 packs, 0 legendaries, something like 4 epics, and double ball of spiders.

On my f2p account I got 1 legendary, 5 epics, 1 golden rare and 2 golden commons from 30 packs. On my main account in EU, I’m still unable to login (fuck Blizzard and their crappy European servers).

Some stats from 120 packs:

431 Commons
135 Rares
25 Epics
9 Legendaries

333 dupe Commons (completed set)
72 dupe Rares (9 remaining)
4 dupe Epics (33 remaining)
2 dupe Legendaries (13 remaining)

9 gold Commons
9 gold Rares (including 3x Wyrmrest Agent – boooo)
1 gold Epic

29,820 dust value obtained in playable cards
4,385 actual dust obtained from dupes
34,900 dust value needed to complete the set

Cards obtained: 189 of 244 (for a full playable set)
Cards remaining: 55

Conclusion: $120 got me the vast majority of the cards, including all commons and most rares. However, it got me just over half the dust value of the set, including dust from dupes. Given that the accumulation of dust value slows down over time (because dupes are worth far less than those in your playable set), it would take significantly more money to complete the set – probably $500-$700 or so total?

7-3 in the first arena of TGT era and while I agree that acidmaw is a bit meh and the combo too expensive, it did good work for me when I got it off of webspinners on 2 seperate occasions. Also, this just in, Gilblin Stalker sucks at jousting.

I got one single legendary from my 50 pre-order packs… :(

Apparently the current thinking for most people trying to utilize inspire decks is to dump as many of the things on the board as possible all at once. My Mind Control Tech is getting quite the workout today, fun for all.

Oh, and all those new Shaman Totemic cards… jeeeeeeeesus. They’re going to be making my life very difficult as soon as they work the kinks out of the best totemic netdeck.

50 packs:

Eydris Darkbane (Golden)
Justicar Trueheart (I’ve been telling them for years it is “Justiciar”)
Skycap’n Kragg

11 Epic
35 Rare (all dups were dusted before I counted).

Eydris AND Justiciar were in the final pack i opened, along with an epic, making it the best single pack I ever opened. I have nearly enough dust at the moment for a legendary - not sure which at the moment.

I got two legendaries out of my 50 decks: Chillmaw and Gormok. Both pretty good!

Also, I used my extra dust to craft Sylvanas, like a chump.

59 packs (preorder plus gold)

Skycapn Kragg
Dreadscale

12 epic
close to 1200 dust for disenchanted duplicates plus gold cards i don’t need

Messing around with Astral Communion since I got 2 of them in my packs. It’s too bad this card is so inconsistent to draw because its fun as hell when you can get it running in time. Not drawing one of them in the first 10 cards is game over, but it can lead to some crazy stuff with the amount of heavy hitters you can pack into a deck. I played AC, then Ironbark Protector then Kel Thuzad then Force Tank MAX then North Sea Kraken. Needless to say, those cards respawning every turn from KT was difficult for my opponent to deal with.

Ahh, so much disappointment with Gadgetzan Jouster. it’s a one drop 1/2 minion that can boost up to 2/3 if it wins the joust. But even though it has the same chances of winning as any other jousting minions in the deck, its loss hits me a lot harder than some of the others do–mostly due to timing. I had such high hopes for a semi-reliable one drop 2/3 general minion that wouldn’t heal the opponent, but it’s like a tiny little 1/2 lance right in the heart over half the time this thing hits the board. Yes, I know the numbers don’t lie, it’s literally programmed to fail over half the time due to the way jousting ACTUALLY works… but still. Denial and all that.

In other news, The Skeleton Knight is a Jousting champion, and I don’t care all that much when he loses. And I’ve already had a couple good streaks with him. He’s pretty fun, especially for soaking up multiple removals on certain boards before I want to get around to playing my important stuff.

31 packs from gold. Thought I was going to wear the golden sombrero, but the very last pack gave me…Aviana.

It’s basically fucking Christmas up in here. Woo woo.

That lil jouster seems like a bad card to me. Typically you wouldn’t want small guys in a jousting deck to begin with, then on top of it even if you win you basically just got an inconsistent zombie chow.

I’m having stupid good results with my various hobgoblin attempts. Also seem to be having great luck with a few different approaches to druid. My priest deck almost feels broken at times and so far is quite consistent. I’ll post some lists and vids after a bit more testing. I’ll likely be streaming off and on all day tomorrow with various deck attempts.

Opened about 10 packs, and got that Eydris whosiwhatsit, but more importantly, also got 2 Ram Wranglers. At some point I accumulated 2 Savanna Highmanes, so I think it’s time to build a terrible beast theme deck!

The flavor text on Void Crusher made me laugh out loud! http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/22387-void-crusher

I got the 50-pack pre-purchase, and I pulled 3 legendaries, 9 epics (7 different epics and a couple extras), 41 rares (28 unique rares), and 93 commons (49 unique commons). I was very happy with my legendaries, especially these first two:

  1. the Warrior 10-cost legendary Varian Wrynn (battlecry: draw 3 cards, if any are minions, place them on battlefield). http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/22342-varian-wrynn

  2. the Paladin 7-cost legendary Eadric the Pure (battlecry works like Equality) http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/card-discussion/54030-new-paladin-card-eadric-the-pure

  3. the not-so-great neutral 4-cost legendary Gormok the Impaler (battlecry: if you have 4 minions, deal 4 damage) - seems like a win-more card, but still interesting. http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/22323-gormok-the-impaler

Edit: Also, duplicates gave me 620 dust (!), so now I have a total of 2200 dust. I still don’t own Dr. Boom, Sylvanas, or Ysera. Should I craft one of those? If I craft Boom and he gets nerfed, how much of my 1600 do I get back if I disenchant him after the nerf? (More than if you just disenchant a card normally?)
