That Renolock deck looks tremendously fun. I think Mal’Ganis will likely be my next legendary craft.
Oh good lord no. We all have our least fave decks to face, Handlock is mine. The last thing I want to see is it get more use.
Mal’Ganis is incredibly amusing when you can pull him off. My scrubby pre-TGT Demonlock deck was a ton of fun to pilot, though I don’t think I could have taken it much past R10 or so if I’d tried.

I’ve opened three legendaries since TGT, all duplicates of cards I already own. There are 52 lootable legendaries I don’t yet own (spread across all expansions), yet I keep getting the same ones over and over. Sure, I have enough dust to craft two legendary cards of any type I choose, but I guess I’d rather complain on the internet.
In other news, this expansion is a whole lot more fun than TGT. Even though we’re only two wings in, the unique card powers have much greater effect on gameplay than most Inspire cards from TGT, and pretty much every joust card. I’m also glad it’s an adventure because, hey, no dupes!
Right now I think I’m getting the most use out of the Jeweled scarabs (Haven’t spent too much with wing 2 cards yet though). I did have a pretty fun Druid->Summoning Stone->Savage Roar build early on, but no matter what I did with the build, it was never quite as efficient as a standard “do whatever the hell you want for the first half of the game, then clean up with a Savage Roar/Force of Nature finisher” build. The randomness was a whole lot of fun though. I did have a mild success with a Shaman Summoning Stone deck, but all the overcharge just murdered any momentum I had before I could really get going, so I never seemed to have the mana I needed precisely when I needed it (for Bloodlust finishers as an example, and lava shock always seemed buried in the deck around card 29 or 30 every damn game). Mages also get a lot of use from the summoning stone, obviously, but I prefer builds that can power up all the random/trash minions the stone summons, and then go face. I haven’t played with the stone much since the new wing opened however.
All in all I’d call this adventure pack a win, at least for casuals like me. i don’t care much for ‘the meta’ as it pertains to the Legendary ranked ladder play. So I don’t know how this will affect those guys, but there’s a lot of new toys to fiddle with here, something TGT never seemed to deliver.
Crafted a pretty good Pali deck for arena, probably an 8/10. Ran into a face hunter who pulled absolute god draw, dead by round 6. I hate this game.
Ugh, slow going earning my 700g per wing. Just with Reno and Unearthed Raptor the meta seems somewhat shaken up by this expansion. Seeing a lot more Shamans all of a sudden, too.
I’ve been experimenting with Reno decks and while they are fun to play they are hardly the panacea to aggro decks. Reno is one card out of 30 which means the chances of him showing up are low in a short game and in a couple of case I lost to a face hunter and a mech mage on turn 5 before I could play him. Ironically where they do shine is against fatigue warriors, particularly if you combo him with Youthful Brewmaster. In those games he always shows up and you just have to survive and keep the combo until the last moment.
/agree The problem I have with this, is how long games take this way lol. It seems like it’s either dead on turn 5, or a fatigue game that takes a half hour.
I made a reno deck to try and troll agro with, a palie deck. Was a variation on my other Pali troll deck. Still way too easy to get killed before you can even play a reno, much less draw it.
The other thing that’s starting to really bug me about the game, is how many decks there are now that can just ignore the board or remove it, until they get their win condition. Some much of the game is all of this ‘one turn of death’ from my hand nonsense. I hate nothing more, than owning a board all game and getting ganked in one round by super combo.

Ya, heard that. Druids are among my least favorite class to play against right now for that sole reason - is there a popular druid deck out there that doesn’t depend on savage roar?
Tip for the latest Tavern Brawl, for anyone who hasn’t worked it out, play Mage and include 2 Mana Wyrms, 2 Flamewakers, 2 Violet Teachers and Archmage Anonidas. Save your free spells until you play one of them, if possible and appropriate.

Great tip. I played two flamewakers on an empty board and then three zero-cost spells. Concede.
Just because I have to be that guy who wont take a mage because everyone else is. 2-0 with a priest vs 2 mages. 8 silences, 5 troggs, 4 cannot be targeted by magic, couple of steal priests and lots of luck is all it takes.

Rhonin #3
For fuck’s sake, give me Acid Maw over another damn Rhonin.
Today’s Brawl sounded fun but was postponed before it went live in my region. Looking forward to trying it.

I was running a build with 2 summoning stones. Which created a lot of problems for my enemy. Summon creature, get free spell, cast free spell, get a second creature at the original casting cost of the spell.
Was a lot of fun. I think I played a good 15 brawl matches, the most of any brawl to date.

Is complaining about getting legendaries something we are doing now? Because I want in on that.
New TB is up, and it’s awwwwwwwwwwesome!
I loved it too. It was probably my favorite so far, and I don’t usually like the deck creation ones as much.
The new one is amazing as well, and it may end up being my favorite. I really would like to see them flesh out a mode like this and make it available all the time.

Ok, I want in on complaining about getting 400 dust then!

The new Adventure Wing is a lot of fun. My wife and I plowed through it earlier on our accounts.
Thanks to all the new froglok cards this week, I ended up spending about 1500 dust plugging some holes in my existing froglok collection–thinking I might actually want to make use of them all at some point. I already had two Hungry Crabs, so no need to create any of those. At the moment the only froglok-related card I’m missing is the Shaman legendary, Neptulon (Legendary: 7 mana (3 Overload): 7/7 Puts 4 random Frogloks into your hand). I have 3100 dust sitting around, so I could make one… but I haven’t decided just how invested in a frog-shammy I want to be at this point. The cards I made earlier are general cards, so they can be used by anyone. And I already had a Murkeye sitting around (I was awarded him like a year ago, just never used him). So, like everyone else I’ll be trying some frog decks out soon to see how that goes. Rise of the Hungry Crab!
I’m tempted to make Neptulon though, if for no other reason than to tell people I have an extremely situational, slimy, and slightly less effective Varian Wrynn.
