I guess with pictures like that they really are preaching to the converted, not people like me who found the first one a virtual torture machine. To win me over they’d have to have levels of flowers and rainbows and no hazards.
I am panting. I need Spelunky 2. It would really help with social distancing right about now.
I wonder if this one will take me 4 years to win for the first time.
I hope they do an Early Access process, though I doubt it. This is what Spelunky needed (though at the time, it would have been called an open beta) to be a massive improvement over original Spelunky. Instead it got released to the Xbox audience, got minimal feedback, and by the time it got to PC, there was barely any room to make improvements.
