Here there be Tower Defense discussion

I am enjoying Emberward (rogelite) quite a bit. The use of the Tetris like walls to build your maze is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The ability to use Talents and Runes is also a nice mix. Talents allow you to pick strategic upgrades (start with more money to build turrets, add 10% interest to earned coins etc). Runes (I think that is what they are called) allow you to add boost spaces for turrets on specific Tetris pieces.

Has anyone tried this? There might be a demo.

Looks like you can play room one for free. It has its own steam page:

I will probably give it a try when I don’t have anything else to play (and hopefully there will be more content).

@soondifferent

Arknights question: If operator has two base skills do they both get used? So if there is a secondary skill for factory will it get used or do you have to select their secondary combat ability to turn on the factory skill?

Nope, all relevant base skills take effect automatically (if assigned to the right station), no need to enable/disable anything.

So if an Operator has two factory skills and you place then into a factory both factory skills trigger?

Yup! that’s why some operators have two base skills that work together, ie. Proviso

I just happened to obtain Proviso this morning and there you go mentioning her!

People who put way too much thought into base optimization say that she’s the only op worth E2’ing for her base skill!!

Toy Shire is a combination of army men and Toy Story in early access.

Has a 3 level demo too. Demo was pretty easy and is 1/4 of the full game in current state. Hopefully they add a lot more levels. The concept is fun with a kid playing toy soliders in his bedroom.
