Maybe HRG always knew he could talk, but others did not?

As long as the thread is revived, here’s one thing I never got. Did Haitian not actually wipe HRG’s memory before shooting him? If he did, then how did HRG recover his memories? If he didn’t, why didn’t Parkman expose it? When HRG and Parkman made their escape, Parkman was very obviously still distrustful of HRG, and I think he was surprised when HRG started communicating with him. If Parkman had been covering for him for days or weeks before that, I don’t think that would have been the case.

I don’t think he actually recovered his memories. I recall that he left instructions with his wife to fill himself in on what’s going on after he was mindwiped and interrogated.

There’s the scene with HRG and Parkman in the paper factory that has HRG grab the Hation and say something to the effect “And guess who found out you could talk?” which seems to imply he had no idea before hand.

Does this mean that Hiro will smile MORE now? I would!
How’s that? Didn’t the Haitian tell HRG his life story in one of the comics before hand?

Beats me, I don’t pay too much attention to the comics, but I definitely remember that scene. I suppose you could take it that he was pissed off that the haitian had let the guise slip by revealing he could talk to cheerverine, but I took it to mean that HRG didn’t know the haitian could speak.

Since I’m prominently featured in the recent comics, I will accept any questions you might have about my son now.

Access Hollywood interviews cast. Some possible reveals.
Aww Jesus. It’s worse than I thought. The question isn’t who is coming back it’s who ISN’T coming back. It sounds like the whole finale was a waste of time. Business as usual.

Eh, I’ll see what happens this fall. I’m not too worried about it. It will either be good, or it will suck :)
Same … still looking forward to the new character intro episodes. I like that idea.
Were any of them actually in question? The only “surprise” there was Isaac but it wouldn’t be out of the norm for him to come in for guest appearances either outside of the main timeline, Chameleon Girl transformations, or in dream sequences like the Richard Roundtree stuff.
I just finished rewatching the whole series from the start. I had missed some early episodes and watching them knowing how it ends made some characters more powerful. Nathan was clearly a writer fav. Ando and Hiro make the whole thing so infectious and HRG was a revelation over the course of the season. He had so many great moments. My favs were the “That went better then I expected” after manipulating the great escape right from the moment of knowing he was revealing himself to Candace…And of course “Your last thoughts” :)
If you all are following the web comic candace was indeed revealed to be a fat high school chick in a 4 parter

In Soviet Heroes, web comics follow you!
Hey, Heroes Origins might not suck.

Where do you get that? I think the chance of sucking just jumped up quite a bit.
