I really wish they’d update how they do Tweet embedding. So many links to tweets with videos have to be viewed off site.

I prefer that, I don’t like embedded videos. Also adds a lot of cross-site scripting concerns.

Why did I just get a pop up that asked if Quarter to Three could access my Virtual Reality Devices? Of course I said no, forever. WTF?

What you don’t want to feel immersed in the tapir/beret extravaganza?

Note: P&VR is not recommended for the weak of stomach.

Still awaiting a serious answer. But, honestly, not expecting one.

Firefox has done the same thing to me for pretty much every site now. Dunno what’s going on with that, must be some default permission that’s getting requested erroneously by some widely used JavaScript library. I say no everywhere.

C’mon, I thought P&VR was clever.

Sure you did. Bless your heart. :)

*shakes fist*

I managed to get a screenshot of some P&VR Blue Ribbon.

Dangit, I just accidentally flagged a whole topic as spam.

Ah. You must mean the North Carolina thread which mutated into a discussion of regional weather. :)

Look, Rich, every gentleman needs a place to talk about their swampass.

How do I mute someone who has hidden their profile?

On mobile, click on the icon, and then click again (on the icon/avatar). Right side sez “Normal” but you can change that to Muted or Ignored.

Doesn’t seem to work - the place where it says “Normal” is missing on desktop and mobile.

EDIT: But I can set it up through my own preferences page!

Is there some reason the preview for YouTube videos now shows up shifted left with a huge blank space on the right?

I just ran an upgrade, if that didn’t fix it must be an outstanding bug.

Well let me test it…

Yeah, still messed up. Looks okay on mobile in portrait, but goes wonky in landscape.

On Discourse 2.5 Youtube embeds will use the full fluid width of the post area. This made a bug in the QT3 custom theme more proeminent.

The topic width was increased from the default of 690px to 1110px. However, on the admin settings the max image width setting is still locked to 690px. Fixing the site setting value to match the post width should fix this. Or restricting the youtube embed size via CSS, whatever people prefer.
