As @Synth said, “it be broken.”
Looks like there is a temporary solution. Instead of clicking on comments, click on “join the forum discussion” link in the episode description, it takes you to the right thread.
I have to use a older iPad 2, and run on 32-bit apps, using iOS 9.35 (I think that’s the last 32-bit version). I find that on both Safari and Chrome’s last version before iOS 10, I can’t see forum posts on Qt3. I see the header, but nothing else.
Hey, how can I get Discourse to do X, where X = ‘show me forum posts on these older iOS browsers’?

Its a bug, they’ve already committed a fix for it though. You just need to harass @stusser to update the forum software.
Thanks, but still no posts can be seen on either Safari or Chrome.

Ahh, guess it wasn’t fixed then.
Thanks for trying, though.

Ah sorry, they just fixed a bug that was doing the same thing on IE I assumed it was the same thing.
We can try reporting it but as per this thread https://meta.discourse.org/t/recent-problem-under-ios-9-3-5/121524/6 they don’t officially support iOS 9 any more.

Ahh. Yeah, that doesn’t look good for the iPad 2. Due to restrictions in iOS users aren’t permitted to use non-Safari browser backends, so there’s no solution if they won’t fix it-- and given that thread, I would be astonished if they did.

Edit: Nevermind, it’s only a pointer to those replies. It doesn’t hide them or anything.
Did something happen to the way replies are viewed by default? I noticed that some replies in a thread have a little “X replies” button I need to hit to see replies, like they are nested now instead of one long thread. Looked through settings, I didn’t see anything about nested replies.
Did I just not notice this or is it new?

Discourse is not remembering when I have read posts, hasn’t for a few hours now. Android Chrome.
I reported this problem weeks back and never could get Chrome to work correctly without disabling my Privacy Badger add-on.
I ended up letting Chrome “install” the Quarter to Three app and - when I use that, - everything seems to work correctly. This is in Linux, but I had the same experience in Windows 10.

You should post that in the Discourse Meta thread. I’m curious to see if people would claim that’s how it should work to encourage the kind of society they want.
No issue with Discourse remembering where I was in any thread either on the desktop or Android Chrome today. So it’s not a forum wide issue. I wonder what’s causing it.
