I did my whole turn, then realized I left myself susceptible to a pad explosion. Not necessary. So I resubmitted.

My actual turn:

  • Paid my colonist to ET produce my generator and rebuilt my rocket, including isotope fuel from the Bernal
  • Promoted my freighter and loaded up the colonist
  • Headed out for parts unknown

@Juan_Raigada, I forgot to grab the 1WT from my venture. Can you give me that?

Ok so:

  • first I pay with the colonist and get a free GW thruster + generators since nobody can bid.

  • then I free market (with colonist) my now obsolete GW thruster for net 9WT
  • rocket moves to bernal, pay 1WT for factory refuel
  • crew performs an ELECTION!

PRC has 1 WT and no votes
UN has 11 WT and no votes
ESA has 8 WT and 2 votes
NASA has 19 WT and 9 votes

Since I win ties and maximum voting is 10WT and ESA can vote at least 10 with WT+votes, I’m going to say I spend 1WT and automatically win unless you guys think the above is wrong. I will spend whatever I need to automatically win if my calculations are worng and deduct the WT later. I’m going to bed :)

And I get the space tourism WT.

I can bid and would have bid my whole wad (2 WT) since I want that generator

I move to, and successfully prospect on, Mimas. 1 WT for UN.

I basically know what my next several turns are going to be: ET produce a bunch of stuff on my D coment, fly it back to Mimas to pick up my ET produced robonaut, then prospect all the C moons of Saturn (epimetheus, janus, pandora, prometheus), then promote my Bernal and send it there so I can put more colonists in space.

Of course, the game will be long over by then. Oh well!

Yeah, we’re in the final stretch here. Both PRC and I are on track for future stars within the next few turns.

Yep 60-70 years is pretty typical for full games:) I won’t be able to take my turn until early tomorrow morning. Currently stuffing myself at a chili cook off

Also had my copy of Bios Origins 2 arrive yesterday. My son and I have been checking it out. I’d be interested in doing a forum game of that.

  • Freighter continued its path outbound.
  • Crew Factory refueled my rocket with water FFTs.
  • Flew the rocket back to LEO and unloaded the FFTs into my depot.
  • Colonist ET produced my robonaut to the Bernal.
  • Venture recouped colonist pay.

  • reconfigure stacks. Rocket has 12 thrust - 1 for wet mass (thanks to me having the ESAprivilege due to my refinery)
  • raygun prospect S site
  • rocket afterburns to gain back the 12 thrust, moves and lands on Mercury
  • prospect there
  • give UN their 2WT in taxes
  • pay 5WT and get the Space Pharmacy Venture
  • pay 1WT and fill Bernal with dirt
  • free market card for net 2WT
  • move bernal to my dual factory orbit Undid did, wrong idea.
  • get space tourism income

Looks like the most recent Vassal file for Bios: Origins even has the card errata corrected. We’ll have to see if people are interested after we finish up here.

HF4 Vassal module is still rough, mostly because card art and layout still hasn’t been finalized so lots of the cards are still placeholder.

UN turn:

  • Rocket afterburns and heads all the way to Saturn aerostat, rolling the dice on landing and surviving.

  • Prospects, auto success due to refinery making all aerostat locations 2 hydrationn net 0WT with taxes
  • Crew site refuels 2WT of S isotope fuel
  • Dropping off mobile factory industrializing the site

  • Crew boosted my crew to my rocket
  • Afterburned and flew rocket back to my Bernal
  • Paid colonist to ET produce my refinery
  • Recouped colonist pay with venture income

this is a very silly turn, but there’s a good chance both fture stars will be taken in 2-3 turns, so I want to maximize cubes in orbit.
