Right, almost forgot!

ESA takes income and flies my 1-thrust bernal towards Saturn, which it won’t reach before the game ends.

Rolling for event

Extropy. UN up for 56.

Turn 56

Rocket takes a tour of the outer moonlets

Prospect Charilko… FAIL

Prospect Asbolous… FAIL

Rocket is stuck as it cannot reverse direction. Robot income for net 0WT change for the turn

NASA moves freighter, does 2 free market ops and an income op for net 8WT, plus V venture income for another 1WT

Over to PRC

I need a ruling on what would happen if next turn my colonist is decommissioned due to a failed roll (and thus the future star is removed). Do we still end the game after turn 57 or would that reset the clock?

Wait, why would you lose a future star? I didn’t even know that was a thing that could happen.

I’m pretty sure that once you have achieved a future, it’s yours, even if you no longer fulfil the conditions at a later time. You’re talking about the cult leader future, right?

The cult leader future specifically specifies in the rules that the star is lost if the colonist is decommissioned. It’s basically an exception (one of the many in the rules…):

• Supreme Cult Leader Future. Place disk in a Futures Star if you win an election in peacetime (N6), plus there are more ballot box icons voting for you than there are for anyone else. Count robotic votes only if you own them and you are the Emancipator. If the Cult Leader Colonist is later decommissioned, you lose the disk (sliding any other disks over to fill the gap).

Oh, right. By now, I really should have gotten used to read the futures in the manual, rather than on the cards. :)

Anyway, it says that you slide any following future discs to the left, so I guess that means that the game continues. I kind of wish it would end soon, though. :)

PRC crew boosts radiator for 1 WT, with 1 WT paid to UN for Cycler.

Crew and radiator added to rocket stack.

RRMU pays 1 WT to perform income op for net 1 WT.

Rocket moves with mass 12 and accel 7 to vesta family HEO. 4 burns, 1 step.

RRMU is added to rocket stack at vesta HEO. Mass increased to 16

Over to Shimizu!

Hey, there are two generators, now on my player mat sideboard, that were stacked together and hiding under my rocket stack (but not stacked actually with the other components). Anyone know how they got there? I don’t recall them being mine…

Where did you put those cards? I can’t find them.

Freigther moves to Ceres cluster, where it drops off all cargo. The generator goes to the rocket stack, the colonists to the Bernal. Survivalists pay 1 WT to ET produce the H6-Li Fusor, which goes into the rocket stack. Rocket lands (unfueled) on Miahelena. Malcolm pays 1 WT to sell Cascade Photovoltaic for a profit of 3 WTs. Crew ISRU refuels rocket for 2 tanks. Pantrophists pay 1 WT to promote freighter.

Over to ESA.

They should be on my player mat, but off to the right of the hand cards by themselves.

Well, somehow my entire previous turn was erased. I re-did it (except the extropy) and took income and flew my bernal around a bit.

UN up for turn 57 (the last turn?)

Hmm, mine has been reset as well.

Turn 57

Resets position to last turn.

Rocket moves to centaur asteroid science site… prospects (with reroll): Success!

Crew ET produces generator to Bernal

Performed a victory point tally (just myself): 89 points

Turn posted. NASA is up!

??? Per the rules (J2):

Winning is decided by victory points (VPs), with WTs as a tiebreaker. VPs are awarded for:
Each claim, colony, or factory (i.e. each disk or cube of your color on the map): 1VP.
Each factory: Extra VP as listed on the Exploitation Track (the exploitation disk should be adjusted to reflect the number of factories built for each spectral type - C, S, M, V, or D).
Each venture disk: Extra VP as listed on the map.
Each glory disk: 3VP.
Each factory at a science site (i.e. with a microscope icon): an extra 2VP, or 4VP if a TNO science site (i.e. the yellow star-microscope icon).
● (Colonization) If in power at the end of the game: 5 VP.
● (Colonization) Each claim disk on a futures star (U1): VP as indicated.

I see for the UN:
6VP for cubes (5 factories and a colony)
7VP for claims
30 VP for the factories (6VP per factory)
No ventures
No glory
6VPs for 3 (non-TNO) science factories
5VP in power (you will surely get this)
19VP for futures

Total: 73VPs

NASA does nothing (no need). Please, take your turn, PRC.

Victory point Tally:

6VP for cubes (5 factories and a mobile factory)
5VP for claims
30 VP for the factories (6VP per factory)
6VP for ventures
No glory
20VPs for 5 (TNO) science factories
Not in power
14VP for futures

Total: 81VPs

So… close… let’s finish, eh?

Sharaleo?

Bump?
