Wait, did turn wrong…
Nope, all good!
PRC decommissions rocket and crew at vesta, adding a colony cube to the site.
PRC crew performs ET prod at unitas - D-D Fusion Inertial produced.
New rocket stack created at unitas - all cards from outpost stack 2 with DD Fusion Inertial as primary thruster.
RRMU pay 1WT to factory refuel rocket - 8 tanks added.
Rocket launches - mass 10, thrust 5. Burns to Luna, performing factory assist landing - rolling a 5. 5 burns for 3 steps of fuel
Inspirations on radiator and generator decks - Ether charged Dust and In-Core Thermionic revealed.
Over to Shimizu!
GW thrusters only factory refuel one tank of fuel, if you want more tanks you will need to IRSU refuel (you can get 2 tanks at Unitas doing that).
Hey, how does Emancipator interact with Big Brother? I assume emancipated robots, as they are treated like humans, avoid the requirement for Big Brother permission?
Refueled the traditional thruster! The GW is just cargo for that very reason. :)
As long as there’s a robot (emancipated), a crew or a colonist, robonauts are free to do whatever. But robonauts are not robots, so robonauts without crew or robots still require permission.
BTW, I think you should have used the afterburner. I only see two therms of radiators in the rocket stack and 3 therms are needed for rocket + generator.
Wait, are therms additive? I thought you only needed enough cooling for your most expensive card?
Oh crap, I think I have probably cocked that up all game (though to be fair I was trucking with my last two rockets with what I though were spare rads anyway). Combined with Heat Rejection, I actually might not have even abused the rule anyway.
Shimizu, can you please deduct a tank of fuel from my rocket for an afterburn when doing your turn? Ta!

Therms are additive, but only for what you are currently doing. You have to cool all therms for your thruster and any of its supports while moving. If your robonaut requires a reactor which has a cooling cost for example, you would not have to pay for it during the move, but only during the prospect op (in which case, you aren’t moving and don’t have to cool the thruster).
Yeah, and if you do both things (for example, move a thruster that requires 3 therms and then use a robonaut that requires 1) you only need enough to cover the hotter one (you fulfill the requirements during a move and then those therms are free again to support the robonaut’s supports).
And Shimizu, take two fuel steps from PRC’s rocket, since PRC’s rocket takes 2 steps to afterburn (I think).

2 WTs deducted from PRC.
Survivalists pay 1 WT to boost malcolm to Ersatz Bernal, which costs another WT. Malcolm boards the freigther which sets a course for Ceres. Rocket moves back the way it came last turn and lands on Miahelena. Crew performs ISRU refuel which adds 2 fuel tanks. Pantrophists pay 1 WT to research In-Core Thermionic generator, which comes with a Lyman Alpha Trap reactor and an Ether Charged Dust radiator.
Shimizu bids 0
Only NASA is elligible.
edit: almost forgot the NASA boost fee. It’s not in the log file, but it has been added in the save file.

NASA isn’t eligible for the fee anymore due to no Ersatz-Bernal.

Damn, I was focused on there not being anarchy anymore, so I forgot he has no Ersatz. 2 WTs deducted from NASA.
Shimizu wins auction for 0 WTs. New top cards are Bubble Membrane, H2-O2 Fuel Cell, and Pebble Bed Fission.
ESA up!
edit: Argh! I should have deducted just one, of course! I’m a little tired. File fixed.

ESA performs factory refuel for 1 tank of V fuel, performs unfueled takeoff from Dione. UN up, turn 51.

Turn 51
Neuman Turings ET produce freighter for 1WT. UN Crew Free-markets it for 8.
Other two robots pay 5WT to ET produce refinery and robonaut
Rocket moves and lands on Titantia
1WT robot income

How can you free market something you produce? To free market at a Bernal it needs to be from a different spectral color (letter) than any of the dirtsides of the Bernal…
Also, only black cards can be free marketed in orbit, not purple ones.
Rules on free market:
K5. COLONIZATION FREE MARKET
The politics indicates how much WT each player receives when selling a hand card in a free market operation. Superseding the basic game rule H3, whereby hand cards are always sold for 4 WT, cards can be sold for a free market value ranging from 2 WT to 6 WT. A boosted white or purple card cannot be sold (unless of course it is first decommissioned).
Free Market Sales of Black Cards. A black card in LEO, including freighters and GW thrusters, can be sold for the price as specified on the exploitation track. It goes to the bottom of its patent deck (since you are selling the license to manufacture the product). A black card can also be sold to a promoted Bernal per Q9, in which case the sold card goes into your hand.
Q9. FREE MARKET AT A BERNAL
If you bring a black card to a Bernal, you may sell it sold for the same price that it would be sold in LEO (i.e. perform a Free Market Operation (H3) to receive WT equal to the VP value of the card’s product letter as shown on the Exploitation Track. The Bernal must be promoted with a dirtside. It can be yours or an opponent’s, if he agrees.
• Market Saturation. If you sell to your own Bernal (including at its start location), the card sold must be returned to the bottom of the deck (i.e. the same as selling to LEO per K5). If you sell to an opponent’s Bernal, the card sold goes to your hand, but you must pay the owner of the Bernal the amount of WT he requests.
• The Product Letter of the card being sold cannot be the same as the spectral types of any of the Bernal’s dirtsides.

Hmm, yeah, forgot about the Bernal dirstside thing (And didn’t know about the purple, though it was decomissioned, not boosted). I’m not where I can check the map right now, but change it this: crew free markets the colonist (5WT balance), 2 ET productions (2WT balance), robot income (3WT balance).
Yeah that works. I’ll change it and submit tomorrow.
Ok, note there are 2 logfiles, because I almost forget to do half my turn…
NASA adjusts UN’s WT and PRC’s rocket fuel (deducted 2 fuel tanks for previous turns afterburner).
Then NASA afterburns, pays FINAO and moves rocket to Humea. Inspiration of Refinery deck.
Scientists pay 1WT to do an automatic success prospect op. 1WT paid to UN. Used remaining glory disk (this is wrong in the first log file)
Free action big cube swap with factory at Europa. Humea is now industrialized. Adjusted VP and rocket mass.
Free market 2 cards for net 7WT.

Over to PRC. PRC might want to check the WTs maybe deducted by Shimizu are added back (couldn’t check), just make sure you start the turn with as many WTs as you ended with.
Edit: we haven’t been updating the exploitation tracks (fortunately that’s tracked by the VP table). Currently all of them are at 6 but the D track that is at 8. Sharaleo, could you adjust them, please?
2nd Edit: Other strange thing I noticed. Shimizu seems not to be using factory cubes to make colonies, but freighter markers. Per the rules we are using, colonies use a factory cube (and thus we are limited to 6 factories + colonies).
