Nope. Namco retained all rights on that IP.
Hip Games was, however, working on a Call of Cthulhu SKU, as well as the George A Romero license.
All they did was port the game to PC.
Was that the Cthulhu game that has been in the works for years? Damn, I had hoped to see that one some dayā¦
No, thatās being made by UK based Headfirst, under the watchful eye of Bethesda.
Oh, thatās good. Then I donāt care as much about Hip Games. :P
There are actually 2 Cthulhu games currently under development, both by Headfirst. The first one, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, is āunder the watchful eye of Bethesdaā (and had been previously bounced around some, IIRC). The second one, Call of Cthulhu: Destinyās End, was slated for publishing by Hip.
