[History Buffs] Aviation Crash Sites near Edwards AFB

I saw this news article on “aviation archaeologists” searching wreck sites near Lancaster California and thought military history buffs might find it interesting. I particularly found the map showing test flight crashes from Edwards Air Force base (where Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier) fascinating. There were a heck of a lot of crashes and a lot of dead pilots. I really brings home the price paid for advancing aviation technology and the sacrifices some pilots gave during the Cold War.
