I expect there will be plenty more contentious changes.
Season 2 was supposed to cover notably more ground and end with a big battle. Due to the budget cuts that’s now next season.
They also said there will be four seasons total, which means the latter 60-80%(?) or so of the storyline from the book will be quite compressed and reduced.
