How clean is your keyboard?

I just play CS on a Saturday late night, and eventually it breaks apart spinning in keyboard-flipping rage and I have to buy a new one.

:)

I noticed this dirty keyboard thing with my old keyboard when I pried off the stupid “Windows” keys.(kept hitting them in the middle of a game and minimizing what I was playing)

Here’s the part I don’t understand.
I don’t sit with my head above the keyboard, yet there was a lot of hair under the keys.

Hair probably falls on your neck or your arm or something, tickles/irritates you, and you brush it away with the back of you hand without even noticing. Or you lean towards the screen to look at something, and the motion makes a loose hair fall, etc, etc, etc.

Yeah. Even if you’re not thinning out you can lose up to 50-100 strands a day so they can get pretty much everywhere :)

Anyone here ever try the ol’ keyboard in the dishwasher trick?

Stick your fingers in your ears! It’s a healthy attitude :)

Nah, the smell is just methane. I imagine any particulate matter is too heavy to be suspended in the air. That is not an excuse, however, to fail to inform anyone in the immediate vicinty of your latest silent but violent masterpiece, “Hmmm, that one’s so chewy my teeth are stuck together.”

The solution: weaponized aerosol farts.
