I’ve worked on a lot of game mods and small software projects. They can keep you interested for a surprisingly long time. Some projects you will get sick of eventually though. A few of them might even end up “done”.
That, and watching youtube videos sometimes takes the sadness that I’m not playing as many games as I’d like to away. It doesn’t help for my yearning for a VR headset though, since it’s so experience based.
One think I do sometimes is wake up, touch my fingertips together, and say, “What eeeee-vil plans shall I make to-day? Nya-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa!” And then I know what to focus on.
