How good are small HDTVs?

I was thinking about getting a small HDTV in the bed room to replace a dying 27 inch CRT. Is it worth going HD in anything less than 30"?

Yes it is.

I’d say it’s worth it, but not worth spending the money to go above 720p at that size.

I have a 19" HDTV (Sony LCD) in my studio, and like it a lot. Smaller HDTVs are great for close viewing/smaller spaces.

I’ve usually one seem them in cramped rooms for space reasons. If you’re replacing the 27", why not get a 30" LCD?
