Right. They are basically doing the same when they put Destiny on the Humble Bundle, it was part to boost the number of players in MP modes and have the chance of winning more money with the MTX.

Well that’s 100% a pause. I’d be on board if it had a campaign - $12 is about right for a CoD campaign. But since it doesn’t, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.
I’m expecting in a week, “But wait, there’s more!” and they uncover the campaign. Still wouldn’t be overly thrilled.
There is no single player campaign in Black Ops 4, they dropped that mode this particular release.
I’ll keep my subscription going because there’s usually SOMETHING in the Monthly I’m excited about, but I’ll tell y’all, I’ve never been less excited about an early reveal than this one.
When do they reveal the hidden games for this month? I thought it was always at the same time as the headliner for next month.
We’ve had worse. There was the COD 3 multiplayer only month, and H1Z1.
I regretted not buying the H1Z1, that had some good extras.
It is, that headliner was an early leak via ad. Two more hours until the reveals.
It’s a fantastic game. Probably the best Call of Duty multiplayer they’ve ever had to be honest.

Someone tell the Journey Down devs they’re doing it wrong. You’re supposed to give away the first chapter so people get invested in the story and want to buy the rest, not the final chapter and hope you get some blind buys to start the story properly.
Looks like I’ll keep it paused. And I’m Not a Monster, really? They were giving away free copies until recently.
Next month’s unlock is an MP only Call of Duty game? Wow. Just… wow. That is about as far from interesting to me as it’s possible for a game to be.

What I see is not a lot of variety, most of them are adventure games. Finding Paradise is a walking simulator adventure, Monster Prom is a VN which is basically also a pure adventure in another format, Journey Down is a traditional P&C adenture, Wandersong has a bit of ‘gameplay’ but it’s 85% adventure, where it matters. Do Not Feed the Monkeys seems to be a game like Papers, Please, with some light mechanics but in these games the main drive is the drama.
I prefer months that don’t have an AAA game like AC Origins or CoD, but in exchange it has a stronger indie lineup.
I bought the 1 year when it was on sale last October. So far, I’ve suspended every month except for 2. Here’s hoping June gets me to unsuspend or else this 12-month package will last me like 3 years.
