Well, especially since if there is a month you want, you can usually get a $2 or $4 coupon by attempting to pause. So, really you’re saving $2 or $4/month by taking this deal, if you would have bought every month. But in the more likely case that there’s only one or two months in that time you want, you’re actually spending more money by taking the 6-month deal.

Indeed, since this Friday is the last one of the month. I’d pause today if I hadn’t already, considering that a lot of places start celebrating Christmas on the 24th and they might be short-staffed.

One last bump to remind people about the 36$ for 6 months deal.

Pausing ends it early. Offer ends today.
Use a 2nd account to keep classic & remember to pause it.

They also have a great graphic novel bundle right now:

Humble Comics Bundle: Discover Image Comics (pay what you want and help charity) (humblebundle.com)

Most of this isn’t super hero comics, but it does come with the first 150 or so issues of Savage Dragon. Several of the others like Descender & Happy are a complete series.

Haven’t read all of those, but there are plenty of books I would recommend. The collections of Descender, Jupiter’s Legacy, East of West, Mage, Luther Strode, and Rock Candy Mountain are worth $25 by themselves.

10 minutes to go. I’m optimistic for this one. Hope it’s a great start for 2021!

So this is why that new deal doesn’t let you pause.

Hmm… neutral feeling. I don’t know anything about most of these.

I didn’t enjoy Chaosbane.

Pathologic 2 is great. I wished I had played it more before it left gamepass two weeks ago. It’s somewhat similar to Vampyr, but you’re a Plague Doctor and the story makes sense with the game mechanics.

All 12 games for 12$ promotion again. Heeey Park-Boy is the bonus DRM free.

About the only interesting thing there for me is Pathologic 2, and considering how repeatedly I bounced off Pathologic 1 I’m not at all sure that would be a wise investment.

I thought that might be a bad sign. Honestly, I was expecting worse than this.

Yay, Tales of a Neon Sea is in this months bundle!

Guaranteed to give you Cyberpunk with settings any PC can run.

Definitely worth my $6.

After diving into the descriptions, Minoria is a spiritual sequel to Momodora which I enjoyed. And Deleveled might be fun to mess around with in short bursts.

Depends on why. Pathologic 2 has a better translation, more polish all around, and lets you tweak various difficulty settings. It’s not going to be any less weird and Russian, though, and they still want a heavy emphasis on survival and scrounging etc that you can make less punishing but, y’know, are still going to be the game mechanics.

This one has an easy mode. It’s still designed to be miserable, but only for the people who enjoy that.

I think I may unpause and be done with it.

Wow. It’s getting harder and harder to differentiate Humble Choice from Fanatical bundles.

Now that I’ve looked at the games this seems to be decent / above average for me. I like almost everything though so big YMMV.

If anyone has that no pause plan but doesn’t like this month send me a PM. I’d be happy to trade something in the Steam sale for them or whatever.

It’s not an awful bundle but it’s not for me. 6 clicks to pause, including bypassing a $4 discount offer. That’s 6 pauses in a row, I figure if it gets to 12 I’ll probably just cancel entirely.

To quote Mark Hamill’s Joker, “Yawn-a-roonie!”

(Actually I might try to see if they bribe me to not pause, for the sake of the cyberpunk-y looking game and the tank game)

Woah. This is the best bundle for me I’ve seen in months. The top 4 games alone are ones I have been interested in.

Yep, I’m up to five pauses in a row now.

I will say that if I didn’t already own PC Building Simulator, that’s the game I’d buy for. That game is my favorite chillout and just enjoy the weirdly satisfying/soothing gameplay loop.
