Is it available to someone like me who signed up as a new monthly subscriber last month to get Metro Exodus?

Humble sent me a survey, so I clicked through. The question was, how many bundled games would I prefer at the “same retail value” of around $240. I picked 8-10 rather than the current 12, and the survey had no further questions. Appears they are wondering whether including 12 titles per month is causing the selection to be perceived as weak thanks to a lot of cheaper titles being thrown in.
I’ll admit that inertia is really the only thing that has me continuing as a subscriber, the minor expense of $12/mo. hasn’t been enough to motivate me to cancel even though all of my “game discovery” needs have been satisfied by XGPU for a while now.
That was my impression too. I also picked a fewer amount of games, quality over quantity everytime.
I just don’t play many different games in a month.
You know, if that leads to less shovelware in the bundles, yes please.
Same. I base my decision on buying the monthly bundle on 1,2, 3 or maybe 4 games. The rest are just extras that I will never play and probably aren’t worth the effort to claim. If fewer games means that they are of better quality then all the better. Also if fewer games means an easier choice to pause, all the better.
I used to almost always bias the toggles towards 1-charity/2-developers and I can’t even do that anymore. Humble, have deviated so far from what originally made them so appealing.
I’d be surprised if dropping a few of the filler games would free up that much to substantially improve the quality of the headliners. I highly suspect the payments to the devs are massively skewed towards the bigger titles, such that dropping the bottom 4 probably gets you like 5%, at best.
Hey , today is Tuesday! New bundle is dropping!
And… wow… pause? I feel this is a PAUSE!!!

Panzer Paladin looks cool, though.
Most assuredly a pause.
Again, for me. I can’t even remember the last bundle I accepted.
Hmm. This is the first time they’ve done a game that’s not just been in a previous Humble Bundle, but indeed a previous Humble Monthly as a headliner. Now, yes, it includes a load of DLC, so it’s technically still value, but…bleh.
Might still be in though, mainly on the strength of a couple indie games I’ve been eyeing (Going Under and Ikenfell).
It’s a weird month, sure, but I wanted the CIV VI DLC, so, not really complaining.
Looking the indies over in the bundle, and Disjunction isn’t even a steam key!
Civ 6 - I own it already. From a past bundle in fact!
Civ 6 expansions. Uh… I still haven’t played Civ 6, so why bother with the expansions if maybe I will never play it? And they have mixed reviews on Steam.
Going Under. In theory I should like this game, but It didn’t click with me and I refunded it. I could give it another chance, but it would be more a bonus game, if other games are good.
Secret Neighbor. MP, not interested.
Worms Rumble. MP, reviews say it’s dead.
Stubbs the Zombie. I already played 15 years ago or whenever it was released. It was average, once you got past the novel concept of being the zombie. no intention of replay it.
Panzer Paladin. No interest. Too retro.
Milky Way + Ikenfell. No interest.
Desolate. Mmm 70% positive in Steam isn’t that positive. I’m reading is full of fetch quests and youmostly walk from point A to point B
Paw Paw Paw. 2d beatem’ups are not my thing, although I can enjoy one from time to time. I’m not interested in the animal theme and the trailer showed somewhat floaty combat.
Effie. Maybe the one that looks the best from the bundle. Maybe the little kids in the faimily would like it. However, I also have other pending games that could do the same role.
Disjunction. It could be good?
So… pass.
I mean, that bundle is “Civ 6 Platinum and a big pile of nothing” from my perspective. The non-Civ stuff on the top tier feels like it would be on the bottom tier of past monthlies.
To be honest, I’ve totally ignored Civ 6. I ended up enjoying V well enough despite the AI being somewhat braindead, what’s the consensus on 6 these days?
I have Panzer Paladin on my “must play” list, and there’s a lot of other stuff in here that looks good, but I do already own a couple of these games on one platform or another. Still not enough downside to make me pause.
That’s pretty much were I’m at. I have the base game, but haven’t played it. If its good, then the bundle is worth while. If Civ isn’t good, then I must pause it.
I loved Civilization III. Civilization IV improved on that even more, though I never managed to get around to the DLC. I own the entire Civ V+DLC collection as well. Now, along comes a fantastic deal on Civ VI + DLC collection at $12, which is literally 50% off the lowest historical sale price of the Platinum Collection, so it should be an instabuy…
…and yet I have never even installed Civ V and may never get around to doing so because Civ games are such a time sink and I have so much other stuff to play. Civ VI Platinum is a STEAL at $12 for anyone who doesn’t own it already or who is interested in trying out the Civilization series and seeing what all the critical praise is about. It is also a good deal for owners of the base game who just want the DLC. But for me, with no other games of interest in the bundle, why spend $12 on something I will likely never play? It kills me to do so, but I will be pausing this month.
I still highly recommend Civ VI Platinum at $12 to anyone interested though, as it will be a long time before a better deal on it comes along.
Civ isn’t a draw to me. I’m just unlikely to fire up that involved of a game. I’ve had Civ V for years and never gave it a try. Wake me when there’s a Civ Rev on PC!
So not the best bundle, but I’m going to bite anyway. I played a chunk of Ikenfell on Game Pass and liked it. I might go back to it. Some of these indie platformers and brawlers might be fun.
