I’ve received the $4 off promo offer each time I’ve paused for the last 5 months (now at 6 months total pause time). The first time you pause after having bought the previous month you won’t see it (though sometimes it pops up a $2 off offer), but every month thereafter it should appear until you buy in again.
If I recall correctly from last year, you can gift yourself this if you are a classic member, and it will add 12 extra months to your total.
I paused enough last year though, to not expire until May of 2022.
Not sure if I am sad or not, as the selection of games has really been hit or miss for months now.

I did this, but opened a new Humble account with a new email. So now I just need to remember to pause one or both accounts each month, which I think is worth it to get it for £6ish/month.
Nope. Haven’t purchased one in quite some time, but they have me on their email list. Six dollars for the bundle is a decent deal, but I have hundreds of unplayed games and six dollars is money I can put towards something else. If there was one game in December bundle that looked like something I might be eager to try I’d get it, but everything looks meh to me.
I’ve changed my mind on this recently, I think it’s pause time. I got Game Pass for 3 months for a dollar, and there are so many games there I’d rather be playing. I’ve been down on Game Pass before because it can easily remove games I want to play before I get to them (or finish them if I’m halfway through, grrrr) but it’s a good opportunity to play games that I don’t really need to own, that I’d be unlikely to ever play more than once. If they disappear then whatever, but it’s a better cost-investment that Humble Choice right now. I’d be satisfied playing several of the games on here this month, but I don’t need to.
I’ll keep it paused unless something I really want to play comes along. Let’s see how long I last.
(having said that, as I hover over the pause button, I will wait until the deadline because… ahem… well, let’s just say I benefited nicely from the 20% subscriber discount yesterday!)
I did the same last year. My subscription renewal is in July, been pausing a lot.
Make that August now, just paused again. Checked out a review for Endzone, it’s mostly just a city builder; I was hoping for more. Not interested in the multiplayer-only games. Some of the indie games looked kinda neat, but realistically I already have so many games that I’ll never get around to most of the indie stuff.
I’m thinking more and more about just buying Partisans and its Supporter Pack on GMG for a current 10 bucks and pausing again. I don’t really have time for a city builder these days as far as Endzone goes, and the other games are not calling my name.
Last day to pause! Do it fast, do it now!
I paused, and used the money to buy Gunfire Reborn with the Humble 40% discount, a game I’d rather have.
Thank you for the reminder. My screen says that I am paused.
Just put a couple hours into Greak: Memories of Azur, from the latest bundle.
If it weren’t for the fact that we are living through a renaissance of some of the greatest combat platformers ever in the last three or four years, then this would be a really stand-out game. Lovely hand-drawn art, a smooth difficulty curve, nice guidance through a relatively open world. The combat works fine, but isn’t particularly challenging (I’m cool with that myself) or particularly original. I’ve only gotten a quick glimpse of one of the game’s few unique elements, which is the ability to manage multiple characters at once. You can switch between direct control of each one, but you can also move around in “mimic mode” where every character follows your controls, or use a catch-up button that brings the other characters to your active character. I’m a little worried that when these become constant features they’re going to get a little burdensome.
Each of the three characters seems to have its own style of fighting and jumping (I’ve just seen the sword swinging, double jumping Greak and his magic projectile-firing, levitating sister so far). So it seems like there’s at least a decent amount of variety in the game.
If you got the bundle, this is worth checking out! It’s not going to unseat Hollow Knight, but it’s well made.
New monthly reveal tomorrow?
Yep, I’m practicing my yawning already. ;-)
I mean, we’ll see if they surprise me but the last three months have not inspired confidence. September was the last one I bought because some of the games looked interesting. Different strokes and all, I guess.
I am hoping for TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE.
More people please buy that now, to increase the odds for tomorrow. :)

Vociferously and maliciously crapping on the humble bundle on the forums is all the fun available from them these days.
Terminator Resistance would be amazing, I’d unpause in an instant. Ain’t gonna happen.

Embrace your hatred. It gives you power.
Oh, even if the rest of the bundle were dried but reheated dogshit I would buy it instantly if Terminator: Resistance were the headliner, but IGN ain’t coughin’ up for that.
EDIT: had to correct the fake past subjunctive was to the correct “were”
I agree with every word of this.
