Seriously, guys, if you haven’t been excited by the last few months, just cancel. That’s the level of quality you can expect going forward. Your lives will be free of the monthly font of negativity. See the light!

Never! I’m going to get my 144 games for $144. I’m committed! I’m ok with 120 of those games being stinkers, though I reserve the right to complain about it.

I look forward to shitting on the newest Humble bundle in this thread every month!

(I don’t have a lot going on right now.)

I feel like I only see this kind of sustained negativity in this thread… and in various threads in P&R. :)

I beg to differ, the glass is half-empty in most threads. Cynicism runs through my veins, not blood.

Amazon is a weird one to call out. Other than some big name stuff in December, they have mostly been offering REALLY stale games. Old Telltale stuff, hidden object games… Don’t get me wrong, I grab it all, and noodle with some of them (played Pikuniku and Battle Chef through them), but Humble generally gives a stronger offering, though granted not for free.

Hmm, then maybe it just seems extra petty here, stuss. ;)

Amazon’s really stepped up its game the last couple of months. We’ll see if it’s a sustained pattern. I just wish fewer of them were useless EGS keys. Still, seeing as it costs me nothing at all (I have Prime because I need it for shipping, everything else is just a perk) I can’t really complain.

You forgot to claim two of those, broskie.

From his comment about EGS keys I am assuming he refuses to redeem the Epic games.

They started to give bigger games around 5 or 6 months ago.

Just because the current month isn’t forme, doesn’t mean the next month might not be different. So, I will keep pausing because it costs little to do so.

In the mean time, now it feels safe to make those purchases on EGS. I was going to buy Warhammer Total War for 5 dollars, so Prime really came through for me.

In addition to this month’s big games, they gave away Frostpunk, Control, Star Wars Squadrons, and Battlefield 5 recently.

I’ve been lukewarm on Humble lately, but I wouldn’t go this far. Most months I’ll at least think about whether I care enough about the Humble selection to spend $8 on it, but there haven’t been all that many of the Amazon and EGS giveaways that I would have considered buying at any price. Though if you include the $10 coupons, that’s another story, as there are various games I bought in the $5-10 range that I otherwise would have waited much longer on.

Mafia remake is impressive get, too bad I already own it since launch. Another pause, probably…

Yessssss! That is a great get. I loved the original Mafia, but never got the remake. I already have Iron Harvest on Epic Game Store, I guess I have it on steam as well now.

Paging @BrianRubin, the early access space sim “Between the Stars”, does it have potential?

Finally, a month I can buy without issue. I only wish I hadn’t bought Iron Harvest already. If I actually bought it from Steam* though, and haven’t installed it yet, can I still refund it?

*a big IF these days, what with so many Steam key sellers.

8 in a row.

I have a 70 item wishlist, the vast bulk of which is indies. If even one showed up in here I’d unpause. Ah well, time to go make my own bundle on the last day of the Steam sale.

If you bought it in the last 14 days, sure.

If not, you will probably get denied by the automatic refund system, but they might give the refund if you contact human support.

Definitely not within the last 14 days, but maybe as you say. We’ll see. If not, I guess I’ll have a key to give away.

I already have Retrowave too. It’s kind of a chill little “drive to synthwave music while dodging cars” game.
