You Suck at Parking is leaving Game Pass on Sept 15, and Guardians of the Galaxy left many months ago.
I believe Coral Island is still on Game Pass but got a negative reception at Qt3 so I’ve never installed it.

Aaaand activated.
Guardians is my favorite part of the Marvel movie-verse and I absolutely loved Midnight Suns. I know different game types and all, but that one showed me that marvel games can be great and I’m stoked to try this one.
GOTG is excellent. I wasn’t in love with the gameplay so I just played on easy, it has a ton of knobs to adjust difficulty. The dialogue is actually pretty funny. They aren’t the movie actors, but whoever they picked did a great job. The graphics are gorgeous too-- awesome game.
Yep, I can heartily second all of this for GotG. IIRC it didn’t do as well as it should have done commercially, which was a shame.
But unfortunately I already own it on Steam and Epic - it must have been given away - and no interest in any of the rest of the bundle, so I’m skipping this month (and resetting my 20% humble store discount…)
Also, the parking game seemed fun from the short time I played it, but was under £2 on Steam a month or two back.
Didn’t someplace (Epic?) give away Guardians already? Also Midnight Suns, though that’s not in this bundle? None of the other stuff looks “worth the squeeze” for me.
Ahh yes, so they did, back in January. So everybody should have it already. That makes this bundle doubly poor.
This is a pretty nice list of games in a vacuum. I finished GotG via Game Pass, and already bought Astrea and have liked what I’ve played so far. Would recommend both of those to anyone who thinks they look interesting.
Coral Island launched a bit underbaked, but my understanding is that it’s in much better shape now. Have been meaning to pick it back up via Game Pass, but a permanent copy would be nice.
And then Lost Eidolons has been on my wishlist since it was announced. The reviews were solid if not amazing, and I’m a sucker for the obvious Fire Emblem influences.
4/8 games landing in my personal interest zone is a pretty great hit rate; just a shame that I don’t need copies of 2.5 of them.
HMU if anyone else with complementary interests wants to split a bundle.
Nice!!
I never finished guardians when it was on gamepass. Coral island looks neat too.
So now we have the fundamental contradiction that is Humble Monthly for me. There are two games on my wishlist there (Guardians and Coral Island) and some other intriguing stuff. So I’ll probably buy it. But I won’t have time to play anything until, like December. So I probably shouldn’t buy it.
For those picking up the bundle for Guardians…it’s a great game. I do recommend turning off the quick time events in the accessibility menu.
Do you think you’ll be able to get them both for $12 by December (with some other random games thrown in for good measure)? If not, you absolutely SHOULD, lol.
The fact that we all got it and don’t remember is hilarious.
Yep, both in my library under ‘M’ for Marvel, though I had already played GotG on Gamepass. This month is an easy skip for me.
Guardians is one of the best storydriven games of the last few years. Even for someone like me who got tired of Marvel to the point of loathing.
It is so good that I bought it at launch so…this month is getting skipped.
Agree with all that Guardians of the Galaxy is a very good game worth playing. If you’re going to drop $12 on the Humble Choice Bundle to own it, check your Epic Games Store account first (assuming you have one, and you really should just for the free stuff) because it was a giveaway over the holidays last year.
I think Stranded : Alien Dawn and Lost Eidolons both look interesting, and Coral Island looks like a fun diversion as well. However I have a feeling all three of those games are highly likely to end up in other bundle offerings in the coming months, and I’m so overloaded with good games I already own but have yet to play that it seems like a waste to buy them all now, even at essentially $4 each, and then sit on them for who knows how long.
If I didn’t already own GotG I’d be snatching up this month’s Choice for sure, but as it is I think I will pass.
I mean, it’s not like I don’t have a lot of other backlog stuff to play. Like, a lot.
But I’ll probably grab it anyway. 2 wishlist items is a strong case, and some other interesting stuff besides. Eventually I’ll find the time. Right? Right?
