I don't want effing OneDrive running on my Win 10 computer, AT ALL

How do I accomplish this? I’ve got Pro, so I set the group policy to not store files online, but today the damn OneDrive Setup was still running after startup and gobbling up 12% of the CPU. I found the startup thingy in the task manager and disabled it there. Is that enough? I just don’t want or need online storage.

I would love a definitive way to purge OneDrive from my system, since it keeps fucking up the PrintScreen keybind for Greenshot and preventing that from starting up correctly. . . and that’s with OneDrive PrtScr monitoring disabled in the options -.-

I use the Shutup10 option to disable it, and it seems like enough.

Yep, Shutup10 or WinAero Tweaker will do it.

I had OneDrive nuked until I needed OneNote 2016 (cause the windows store version is total ass). And I couldn’t get OneNote 2016 working without OneDrive backing it. Grr.

Once you’ve disabled it via local policy (assuming you got the correct policy… Computer Config > Admin Templates > Windows Components > OneDrive, “Prevent usage…”) you can uninstall OneDrive via Settings > Apps. Is it the uninstall that’s hung?

I hadn’t tried uninstalling it, but thanks for the tip.
