Oh god, the defense’s closing is terrible so far. He’s calling out the MSM for descending on Sandy Hook like vultures. He’s claiming the MSM reported irresponsibly and turned out to be incorrect and drove conspiracy theories.

You can’t say this lawyer isn’t all in on screwing the pooch.

“I’m very sorry for what I did, but it’s actually not my fault at all, also disregard where I called all the members of the jury too stupid to understand me several times.”

The defense is actually trying to make Jones the victim. Saying he just made a simple mistake, that was then capitalized on by the political forces against him.

Now we’re on to: his platform is tiny, hardly anyone listens!

For an even better example, he literally got the wrong number of children that were killed (said 26 kids instead of the actual 20) in the same exact breath that he said the media was misrepresenting the facts of the Sandy Hook killings.

Jones and his lawyer talking right now on a hot mic about the “truth”.

This is evergreen advice.

surely there are some plums in there

That’s a pretty specific callout.

Punitive damages are still to come

Why/how would they have gotten the plaintiff’s medical records? How is that relevant to Alex Jones?

Well it’s pretty relevant to his lawyers. And if it’s relevant enough he’ll need to find some new ones.

If I’m not mistaken the cases are associated in that discovery is shared between them. The big fuck up was that the attorney dropped all these records in a shared folder. One that was not exclusive to the defense attorneys but the shared folder where they were sharing discovery documents with the plaintiff’s attorneys. So when the world’s worst attorney accidentally dropped a whole bunch of info including a complete copy of Jones’ cell phone into the shared folder that one can only assume he thought was private but was in fact the shared between all parties discovery folder the attorneys on both TX and CT cases received it.

Wait a second, I missed that it was the plaintiff’s medical records? I had though that it was Jones’ media records that somehow got uploaded with the phone info.

Plaintiff’s medical records are relevant because they are trying to show that Jones’ lies caused them harm. I imagine the records include reports from therapists and other doctors who have examined them.

The relevant part is: “in violation of state and federal statute and this court’s protective order.”

Generally you don’t want to do something that’s illegal and you sure as heck don’t want to do something that’s illegal that the judge specifically told you to make sure you didn’t do.

Ahhh that’s what I was wondering.
