If anyone is wondering, the fine folks at patriots dot win (which used to be thedonald dot win) are…shall we say…displeased about this interview. They’ve basically declared Newsmax to be as bad as CNN and FOX News.

Nothing short of full-throated support of these whackadoodles is enough.

Maybe they will get crazier and crazier and slowly lose ‘news’ support?

When the only outlet that will have you on to talk is Newsmax, I feel like that’s already happened.

Being sued for more money than you or your bosses have is a hell of a drug.

So that leaves OAN and Infowars I guess?

Gosh, seeing the fascists and the deluded conspiracy nuts turn on each other just breaks my heart.

They’ll regret MUZZLING MyPillow.

Couple things:

  1. I like this guy. He’s like your uncle who’s constantly one inch from going over the line, but always a hoot
  2. What is with people recording these videos in their cars? Do they realize they want to record their thoughts while they’re running errands, or did this guy get dressed, put on his coat, and come out to his car specifically to record this video? I would shrug and mutter “kids today” but this guy is not a kid!

I assume his wife or neighbors require it. Vic gets a little excited.

Menzo’s right though, and I was gonna ask the same thing.
Tons of people make videos while sitting in their cars, and it makes no sense to me.

I have to assume they do that because it’s a guaranteed quiet spot and they don’t have any alternatives. I don’t understand the people that DRIVE while making the videos though.

Yeah, it’s like a miniature, somewhat sound-proof recording studio that everyone has with comfortable seating and an easy place to put your phone/camera. It’s lazy but logical.

I like the driving ones better because they’re a lot more cinematic.

So Trump and Biden are now in a real-life version of Face/Off? Well, at least they are both probably better actors than Vinnie Barbarino.

I will give him credit for at least recording in landscape mode. I will never be OK with portrait video, even though it’s becoming fairly standard.

And I guess you’re right that it’s a relatively soundproof recording studio and easy to get a car mount for your phone.

Still weird, though.

Yeah this. A car with its fabric-lined surfaces actually makes a halfway passable sound-booth. Probably much better than the hastily-converted bedroom that would be their only other option.

Add me to the legion of folks wondering what the deal is with political commentary in cars. Maybe I should steal Seinfeld’s bit and start a Pundits In Pickups Getting Pastries web show.

Also, fuck Mike Lindell and anyone who would give him air time.

Quiet, no distractions? Maybe it’s like being in your own little audio studio?
