What is that .gif from? Is that Nicholas Cage chewing the scenery?

Why yes! That’s from Face/Off.

I’ve seen that movie, but I don’t remember that moment. Is that Is that Travolta’s character with Cage’s face? And why the priest’s frock? Cage wasn’t a minister as I recall.

Been so long since I saw that. All I really remember is that it was a dumb movie. It’s just that when you hear they are going to swap faces you know it’s stupid but you want to see it anyway.

Pelosi on her game.

From the department of redundancy department :)

(I kid, I think he’s capable of subtlety somewhere)

Ah so its John Travolta then ;-)

Now, now, it’s a legitimate genre. It even has its own awards show!

It’s right at the beginning so Cage is still Castor Troy with his Face/On. He’s dressed like that for criminal not spiritual reasons.

I recently rewatched it after seeing this interview and it was even dumber/more glorious than I had remembered. I love the movie very much.

Ok, that’s a funny scene. I think someone could put together two hours of clips of Cage overacting.

The first movie I ever saw Cage in was Valley Girl. He was great in that and the movie was great. I’ve been a fan of his ever since.

If you like Weird Cage, I recommend Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant ‘remake’.

This is state of the art in face transplant

I rather enjoyed the movie. I like Cage and Travolta. Sue me.

Over the top Cage can be good and over the top Travolta can be good but this movie is not good. IMO.

The bees!

Do you think anyone is using ‘good’ as the scale for judging this film?

Absurd and entertaining, yes, good? Not so much.

‘Not good’ = ‘not entertaining.’ I agree that stupid films can be entertaining, but when they cross a particular threshold of stupid, they become unwatchable. At least for me.

Check out Wild At Heart.

Just be careful not to go too deep down the rabbit Cage

Leaving Las Vegas is phenomenal, though very difficult to watch. Didn’t he get an Oscar for it?

Yep, he did.
