I don’t think that’s staged. He’s doing an above average job of putting his attackers down pretty quickly and using his surroundings (people helping, cars) to his advantage.

The dude in white just doesn’t know when to give up – until that last punch, anyway. He gets hit so hard he actually catches air sideways before hitting the ground.

I thought from looking that he must be a boxer. He keeps up a good guard and knows how to punch, while the other guys just rush him leading with their faces.

I saw that video a couple of years ago on break.com and the way I remembered it was something like this: The guy kicking everyone ass is a former PKK-guerrilla. His father got rejected(possibly beaten up) at a local tea house. He goes to the tea house and they get into a Kurd/Turk argument until predictably they start fighting.

I bet Latham’s Evolution of Form animation would yield some nice gifs… It’s amazing how old this is – he did some excellent work back in the day.
