I would imagine it’s because falling a certain way with a bungee is safe, while a different way is unsafe. They get you to fall forward, so you’re always tilting your head downards and your legs are coming up, so you’re rotating around your waste. If she dropped from that position she’d be falling in an upright position, and when the bungee cord reaches its maximum tension she’d be snapped around from an upright position by her feet.

So I’m guessing it’s a safety thing rather than yer man trying to terrify her.

I don’t really see a cord on the woman.

Check out her feet.

Many ways are safe, and the cord is plainly visible. But the guide’s job is to get you off that platform, and sometimes you have to pry a finger or two. They are always grateful, afterwards.

That is the greatest thing ever.

Awesome.

Remember Gwen Stacy!!

That’s really cool but looks like a safety hazard. Are those pallets on some kind of track that keeps them from slipping sideways and taking out those soldiers?

And totally staged. No McDonald’s employee smiles when handing out food.

Plus the driver’s hand just sorta hung there for an extra second while he was thinking, “Geez, Randy, NOW?”

I may be drinking but regardless that made me laugh.

The best thing about that gif is the smoke phoenix at the end.

Was that a pop all the flares for show thing? Or is that just one round?

It’s an angel you heathen!

If I had a dollar for every chain email with that gif and the same ‘angel protecting our troops’ crap…
