Lots of spices taste good, I still wouldn’t eat a dry spoonful of them. Cinnamon is particularly difficult to eat because it dries your mouth and throat out severely. Similar to the “6 saltine challenge”.
There’s not actually all that much cinnamon in those buns, and plenty of sugar. I love cinnamon, but it isn’t something you’d normally eat straight…
Similarly, imagine it was a heaping tablespoon of straight salt or ground pepper. Well, except worse! Even a small bit by itself is pretty unpleasant.

I’m not sure of the proper term, but cinnamon is uneasily mixed with liquids. Liquid kind of of just rolls off it while taking thin layers at a time. Cinnamon is also extremely fine and very light. A faint breeze can move it about and clearly that guy didn’t close off his mouth from his throat first. Even if he was breathing through his nose he most likely got a cloud of cinnamon down this throat if his tongue wasn’t blocking his mouth off from his throat.
On the upside, his mom seems to be enjoying his pain immensely. :)
I think that’s his friend. I don’t know them personally though, so maybe you’re right.

Man, dry old cinnamon is like Mars dust. Cinnamon and water is worse than oil and water. It’s easier to make an oil/water emulsion than to combine a tablespoon of cinnamon and any amount of water. Especially in a small tube with sticky sides. The cinnamon coats your mouth, throat and trachea if you are so lucky. Water pours right by it and into the stomach (or lungs if you are so lucky).
Good way to kill a drunk friend, if you need that kind of help… What did I say?

This is why my wife insists on cutting the handles on any bags we let the cats play with.
It’s all fun and games until someone gets caught in the handle!

Oh jeez, he did inhale it, didn’t he? Brutal.
Nope, Chuck Testa.
edit: for anyone that doesn’t know about it, there are hundreds (thousands?) of YouTube videos where people attempt the cinnamon challenge. I’ve only seen one attempt where the person succeeds.

I love how the cinnamoron’s reaction is to almost take his shirt off.
I actually can’t even tell if you’re joking anymore. That’s a man wearing a pink shirt.
Never change, T-hajj.
This kind of thing traumatized my male tuxedo cat when he was a kitten. Now, when other people are over, he’ll just stay under the bed for hours, poor little guy.
I wasn’t joking when I wrote that, but now that I’ve looked again it’s clearly a male, about the “inhaler’s” own age.
That’s the kind of shit my mom did, so naturally I just assume that’s how everyone’s mom is giong to act.

The Video is so much better.
God yes. Thanks for passing that along, made my daughters day, in particular.
