This is not true. Scottish is a neutral description. Scots is slightly poetic. Scotch is not seen as offensive, but people using it are seen as a bit dim (by the Scottish.)

Probably CO2. It’s denser than air, and I’ve seen similar experiments performed with it before. You’ve probably seen dry ice fog in films or on television and noticed how it flows down the sides of containers and along the ground. Same principle, except dry ice fog is cold and therefore visible.
