Probably CO2. It’s denser than air, and I’ve seen similar experiments performed with it before. You’ve probably seen dry ice fog in films or on television and noticed how it flows down the sides of containers and along the ground. Same principle, except dry ice fog is cold and therefore visible.

Isn’t the aluminum foil boat floating on it? If so, it’s unlikely to be CO2, since I don’t think it would be dense enough to support that. Probably that other one that was mentioned.
