To be fair most of the Silva/Griffin fight consisted of Silva dodging blows with little effort, though. It was a total mismatch.

Looks like heated metal that would get fed into a roller to be further flattened, except the roller stopped or material got backed up or something and so you have a machine pushing this somewhat flattened metal with nowhere to go but up.

It’s not that hard to see how it was supposed to work. If he had caught less air and/or the van was going slower, then he would have landed on the other ramp.
