Yes, sometimes jury nullification is a good thing. Kudos to the holdouts who prevented this travesty of justice.

What I don’t get is how Stephen Miller is so anti-refugee when some of his direct ancestors escaped anti-Jewish pogroms just a few generations ago. And how he really believes that the crypto-Nazi alt-Right types with whom he’s allied don’t consider him at best a “useful” Jew for now.
Well, he’s an evil fucker. Everything follows from that. The rest doesn’t matter.
He’s also just not very bright.
Did someone already post the story about how the section of wall that was built with private money failed to get any of the proper permits to build? They basically submitted some drawings on paper the day before they started building. Like, less than you’d be required to do before adding a deck on your house. So they’ve been ordered to leave the gate on it open.
Anyway, I brought it up because Steven Miller was actually down there the day they cut the ribbon. What a fucking clown show Nazi he is
A Jewish Nazi to boot. How does that work?
Like this: (he’s also the father of chemical and gas warfare and liked to oversee the killing of people with his invention)

Of course he didn’t. There will be no new major efforts. But his base will believe it’s happening, just like the wall, which is, according to Trump, far along construction.
We are living in The Emperor’s New Clothes.
Oh, I suspect it will happen. Authoritarians do love to use their Gestapos… for enforcing misdemeanors (1st time crossing - can become higher for multiples).
Chris Hayes invokes Godwin’s Law as a reason not to use the term “concentration camps” and gets called to task for avoiding the best term by … Godwin.
FWIW, the term “concentration camp” predates Hitler. The camps the British held Boers in during the Boer war were called concentration camps (by the British) and the camps Japanese-Americans were interned in during WW2 were sometimes called concentration camps (including by FDR).

I wish I knew how to draw.
It says Liz Cheney, and she’s putting a star of david over a LGBT badge. I guess she must have said something recently about how it’s offending her because apparently she’s Jewish. Previously Cheney trotted her out as an example on how non-evil-monster he was because he was cool with lesbians like his daughter.
Okay…that still doesn’t make any sense. But thanks.
I don’t get it either.
It seems she’s fighting with AOC because AOC is calling them concentration camps.
AH, okay, now I understand. I didn’t connect the dots to AOC.
That’s some really shitty political cartooning. Both the art and the writing.
