I’m sympathetic to Biden’s position, you do want to keep lawsuit pay outs to a minimum. In a sane world Trump would get the blame for the horrendous trauma he cause, sadly in today’s America, it looks like Biden will just get the blame.

I’ve seen other people discuss it and they mostly came to the same conclusion, especially if they’re asylum seekers since the only angle of attack is that Abbott/DeSantis were furthering their illegality by sending them to sanctuary cities. But if they’re asylum seekers, they’re not really illegal.
Basically the end result doesn’t matter because everyone agrees the Feds aren’t going to charge anyone anyway.

I don’t see why Biden can’t give anyone who has a credible asylum claim a 1 year green card.
If they have a credible asylum claim, they should be given asylum.
