Titan HD is currently on sale for $4.99 (usually $7.99).
I’m trying to decide if I should pull the trigger.

There is an update with a tutorial, and some speed/sequence tweaks and whatnot. If you’re looking to pick up the game, the price drop and the patch might be as good a reason as any.

I really want to pick up Titan, but I worry that the lack of AI or multiplayer would make it into a frustrating purchase. I assume there is no news that would make those drawbacks potentially less of a concern?
There is a perfectly functional AI in the game (currently kicks my butt all the time). I am still pretty new to Titan, unlike some of my friends who could remember what was in stack just based on what I recruited. It is an excellent port of the game, battle boards, main board, and all.

I hope you mean Ravenmark? :D
(disclaimer - I’m one of these guys who worked on Ravenmark, so it wouldn’t be fair of me to push my game like that, but we do have a lite ver you can check out. but just to note - we do not have multiplayer if thats what you’re looking for)
as for myself personally, im currently playing battleloot hd (but God, baldur’s gate for the ipad cant come any sooner … or pocket heroes … these are 2 games I really have my heart set on!) king of dragon pass is also pretty good (heard it was on sale a few days ago, not sure if its still for sale)

Does anyone know if the current KoDP will become an “iPhone/iPad” game, or will the iPad version they mentioned be a separate title?

It’s supposed to be a universal update, so no separate iPad version.

Not that there is zero AI, but more that the AI fails on a tactical level. I believe Bruce summarized the AI as suicidal in his recent review. Maybe I am misrepresenting his overall feeling of the game as a single player game though. I got the feeling from his review that the game that currently exists called Titan is not the Titan iPad game I would wish existed after playing it.
I did.
Edited and head bowed in shame.
Speaking of Ravenmark, which I for a while thouroughly enjoyed, I stopped playing it because of that damn mission with the suicide bombers. I’d really like to get back in to it but I loathe that mission. Do you have any spoilers so I can beat that one?

haha nothing to be ashamed about! im a harry potter fan myself!
as for that mission, we got a few requests for a walkthrough : http://www.witching-hour.net/?p=383
also, ian has streamlined the mission and tweaked it for v1.05 (out aprl 5th!)
We’ve removed some structures in the way, and spawned a few less units with the deacon. it should be much easier now (we beta’d it a little more and it plays much easier now - if not … email me via the feedback button … we really do take this stuff seriously!)

Neuroshima Hex is updating in April to include multiplayer asynchronous play. Do those of you who own it think it’ll be a good asynch game?
I really liked playing Neuroshima Hex last night. I’m curious to see if it holds my interest. I got bored quickly with the other iOS games I’ve tried, even when I’m captive with no access to my PC, like on a plane. It might help to use it for games I can’t get on PC, like boardgame conversions. I also see Ascension in my future since I’ve always wanted to dive into a collectible card style game.
I hope my wife doesn’t kick me off and make me get my own iPad. We really don’t need two of them.
You should see it in your Right Now.

Got a free copy of W.E.L.D.E.R. from one of those App of the Day code cards that a local Starbucks gives out, and I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s a great little word game and I’ve been playing it loads since I got it. It would definitely be worth the 99 cents if I hadn’t gotten it for free.
Also no collectibleness. It’s basically the ‘draft’ style of game used in collectible card games refined to a beautiful pinnacle of yum

Can’t wait for Nightfall. Should hit the app store in about a week.
I’m looking forward to nightfall as well. Can’t wait.
