Over at the Macrumors forums where I originally saw this, reports vary from getting the code almost instantly to hours later. I guess I got lucky. That thread has been up for a few days and the Wallyworld site states “while supplies last”. I got mine this morning, so hopefully they haven’t run out completely.

Dammit. Bastards cancelled my order for two cards and refunded my money. :( Bummer, since I buy a lot of comics and magazines on the iPad.
That’ll teach me for being so weak that I drop my moral boycott of Wal-Mart As soon as they have a killer deal. Boycott is back ON, be-yotches!*

Have they released the MP update yet for Neuroshima Hex? I’m hoping that Playdek or Big Daddy’s does 51st State: New Era. That’s another good Neuroshima game.

Surrounding yourself like that is a good way to keep from taking damage, especially in 3- and 4-player matches. The trick is what units you happen to draw. Which is kind of the annoying part of the game. The easy/medium/hard AI doesn’t matter as much as the draw. And in multi-AI matches, who they decide to focus on. It’s still very amusing and I plan to get the DLC.

I like that if you draw poorly, you can usually sorta hunker down, take your licks, and then come back with stronger cards later. Your strategy can help counteract a poor draw. Seems that way to me, anyhow.
My HQ is in the bottom corner after I moved it twice during the game.
Best Buy also runs 20% off on iTunes cards every couple of months or so (most recently was a couple of weeks ago) and I’ve never had any trouble buying from them or getting codes immediately.
