I have seen that and I’m not sure if it’s a bug. A valid strategy is to attack yourself if you are ahead so as to make the game end faster. Also, you have to choose a valid target for every card played, so if you don’t have a minion out when the card attacks a minion, the AI would be forced to attack itself. I didn’t notice if that was the case in the few games where it occurred.

Except that in a two player game, attacking me would also make the game end faster… I don’t think I had any damage absorbing minions in play.

I think it’s an AI bug then. The problem is even on the slowest game speed, things often happen too fast for me to tell what’s going on.

I got Real Racing 2 HD, and it’s funny that it could hold it’s own vs. GT5 in many ways. For 3$. On a tablet. At a higher (?) resolution than GT5. The boggles, they do nothing?

That list is awesome! Reminds me to play Battle for Wesnoth again, too.

That’s because I added it! I didn’t add the other two because I was all ehhh.

Cross taking this as a baseline and adding all the other stuff I don’t care about would probably make a good edit on the first post.

Jason, would you consider splitting board games out from the strategy group? Those seem distinct enough in gameplay to need their own categories.

IIRC, I Dig It was stolen wholesale from a Flash game.

Did I miss Catan on that list somewhere?

What the…? You guys have been hiding iPhone game conversations in your elitist little iPad thread? Jerks!

-Tom

Awesome. Just in time for my iPad 2 to arrive on Monday!

I’m surprised you can even read this thread on that tiny tiny screen.

Why you gotta be such an iist? iism is an ugly thing.

-Tom

Awesome, Jason, thanks!

Aquaria
Osmos HD
Groove Coaster
Waking Mars

So, Ascension isn’t on the list? Assuming that falls into the category of games you don’t care about (which is fine).

Ascension not being on the list not only makes the list worthless, but also implicates Jason M. as a traitor to Qt3.

It is a stunning oversight, and I for one cannot condone the list, or its value, until the oversight is corrected. Excuse me, I have to inject some more Ascension …

Or as we call it on the street, “A”, or “Ash”.

Maybe Jason is protesting the crappy low res sprites on the iPad version.
