Oh strange, I thought I had it in an earlier version. Added in.

I don’t care how it looks so much, I just like the fact that it’s bigga and that the music works like a snake charmer with a cobra. Hippno tick.

hell i’d buy BG on the ipad just to support the devs. if the response is poor then they might not consider porting older titles (and let’s be honest, porting is far from easy). secondly … multiplayer dude! remember those 56k tcp/ip config days? hopefully they make multiplayer on this work amazing … because i would buy BG simply for the multiplayer … the single player campaign is just icing on an already great cake :D i hope to God it comes out great.

Jason, awesome list. Any chance you’d want to move it to your first post in this thread?

Wrong Jason, someone send out the batsignal to Jason Cross…

No Carcassonne? No Sid Meyers Pirates?

Carcassonne should be at the top of the list.

I was excited to play The Simpsons: Tapped Out. But I missed its initial download window, and the game was so buggy (or the servers so unable to handle the load) Electronic Arts pulled the title.

The game released in early March, was up for a day or so, and hasn’t been available since. It’s been a month.

As I understand it, EA is letting the people who downloaded it continue to play.

Has anyone tried Tapped Out?

Work folks introduced me to Zombie Gunship today. Good fun.

Cubis Creatures is 99 cents and Universal, Retina Display too. You may remember it when it was an iPod Video game.

Weird. Microsoft Security Essentials misdetected an update of Infinity Blade II in Windows 7x64 iTunes as “Trojan:MacOS_X/Bonanza” alert level: Severe

It obviously wasn’t since I had just chosen to auto-update from the AppStore.

I really thought that was an amazing game. Lost steam for me fairly quickly though.

Lately I am playing an iphone game called Tactical Warrior. Not sure how I found it but I bought it based on one of the review comments ‘It reminds me of Gladius’…immediate purchase. Gladius is, for me, probably the most under-rated, under-performing title of all time. Alas, this does not remind me of Gladius. At all. But its still fun.

I agree with both of these sentences.

I would pay good cash money for a Gladius port on a platform that I actually still owned, like Windows, Mac, or iPad (or even Xbox 360. They never made it compatible. Fuckers.)

Thirded. And man… I never thought of it before but gladius would work well for the ipad…

Gladius is the one game on my list of XBox games that I really wanted made backward compatible that never made it.

Gratuitous Space Battles just came out for iPad.

I thought I was the only person that liked Gladius

sniff I’m just so happy right now

Yes! That’s the only Xbox game I still own. Waiting patiently…

I was so sad that sequel got canned.

Be sure to check out Max Payne, the PC game that’s been ported over to iOS for a mere $2.99. Looks pretty good.

Gah, and you posted this news before me! the shame… Here is the linky:

How does any game get noticed when first released on the ipad? talk about swamped with a bazillion new releases and very little opportunity to intelligently filter or sort… arghhhh.
