The Incident is out and it’s a great example of a quick-fix action game. I’m a sucker for the 16bit aesthetic too. Trailer is on the developer’s website:

I’ve played a lot of Piczle Lines lately. Nice relaxing gameplay in small doses. The basic game is free, and if you like it you can buy extra puzzle packs.

“Gangstar - West Coast Hustle” is reduced to the crazy price of $0.99 right now.

Seems like a decent GTA rip-off and I will buy it once I’m home.
The lite version played ok on my 1st Gen Ipod Touch after a reboot to free RAM (was stuttering before)

Any comments on the DOOM games?
Intrigued by the low prices due to Quakeconn right now.

Is there any way in Warblade to tell what secrets you’re missing in the current game? You can buy secrets in the shop, but the checkmark indicates whether you’ve ever unlocked that secret in any game, not the current one.

Also, are dark purple (lose-a-rank) drops very unusual, or do they stop after you’ve hit one? I think I’ve gotten one in my current game, but I’ve been trying to collect another just to be sure, and they just aren’t coming up.

Yep, did that. I’m still not seeing any, though; I’m not certain if that’s because they’re rare, because you don’t get any more after you’ve collected one, or if you don’t get them after reaching Champion rank.

Yes, I’ve repeated the make-dark-purples-drop action a number of times. Still no dark purples.

I wish I could tell which secret I’m missing. It might not be this one, but if it isn’t, I’m at a loss as to which it is.

I had an amusing Warblade bug (amusing because I somehow survived). I’m using the slide control, and at ~800M when suddenly my ship would only fire when I was on the far left of the screen. It was a fairly high level (80-something, I think), so things were getting rather hairy very quickly. I lost both armors and ran into one skull before I got my wits about me enough to quit out of the game. When I came back, the controls worked normally again, but there was a hurry-up ship and something like 20 homing missiles. Luckily there was a memory-game icon right next to me…
